Bought my 2024 on 11 October, next day, saw that the interior lights would not come on when the door was opened, check the switch on the roof (3 position), nothing. Push the buttons for individual lights, work no issue, same thing for the rear seat dome light.
Called for appointment with service department that week, get her in, determine that the switch is bad, no biggie, they order a new switch (email that the new part has arrived), called on Monday to make an appt for new switch to be installed (today 25 October).
Get up there, should have been a quick swap, 30 mins, in and out. Nope, 2 hours later, come to find out the tech could not figure out the issue, they will need to keep the truck for at least a week to diag and trace possible wire issues. Waiting on the call for a loaner before I leave the truck.
I suggested to both the service writer and tech to take a known good switch out of a 2500 on the lot to see it would work without digging into wiring. Could be a bad batch of switches. Not sure it they will do that, tech was visibly frustrated with the issue.
Does not affect the drive of the truck, just want it fixed, not pissed off. Waiting on the call.
Any others have an issue like this?

I have a 2019 Limited, with no issues. I don't see any switches for the doors, can you send a photo?
Almost sounds like the override is on, can you post a photo of the overhead switches close to the rear view mirror?

You don't specify what trim level (or have it in your sig)

(ETA: "3 position" would indicate non LED console)

Will get out there tomorrow and take some pics.
Thanks.

Not to sound insulting but you don't have the dimmer switch turned all the way down/off do you?
This not only blacks out the gauge cluster, but it turns off the dome lights with the open door too. Just a thought.
