I am new to ram and just bought a 2500 rebel power wagon. Why did they call it that? I understand the rebel part, it says rebel everywhere. The sticker says rebel power wagon. I don't think it has 4:10 gears, a winch, etc. I was just curious.

IT's based on the PW, that's it. Same paint schemes, grill, trim, interior, and rear axle with locker. The same winch is also available if you got the Hemi.

Thank you. That is the conclusion I drew from reading but wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. Thank you.

Yea, not really a PW unless you add in all the options that make it a PW. There are a few things that you can only get on the PW. And by the time you do that, you could have ordered a real PW for less.

Yea, not sure what RAM was thinking there with the Rebel Power Wagon. There is a big thread on here about it. Glad you got what you wanted. Love my PW.

It seems to be in between the regular ram and power wagon. After tons of reading, I’m very happy with the rebel. I’m rebellious by nature. Plus without power steps, my short wife would not be able to get in very well.

Vice makes a nice hidden winch mount for the Rebel. That way you get the 6.7, a locker and you can do recoveries.
