New 2024 leaking fluids

Good deal, Mine is on back order, with no availability date.
I would be fairly upset. My truck is a work tool. If I don't have it my work is affected.
Mopar stock or not, those quality parts are out there, and independent mechanics work with them on a daily basis.

In my opinion, a good dealer would get one and get the job done. Worst case is they eat the cost and keep a customer.
Good luck!

I agree, I found & purchased the OEM part from one of the OEM parts stores online. Had it in hand within a few days, took it to the dealer & was told they could not use it. Said it has to come from there warranty parts warehouse.

That's what I would expect. Not what I would want to hear, but what I would expect.
I have about 1k miles on the new seal - peeked under there today and it's still dry. Hopefully yours will also be a solid fix once they have done it.

Mine has the same issue, Just got it under 2 weeks ago and driven it a little over 400 miles. I see the trans fluid between the driveshaft and transfer case leaking into driveway. Will be taking it in this week to dealer.

Thanks for the info, mine has been at the dealer for 2 days and they haven't gotten it to a tech for diagnosing yet (even though we all know what the issue is) this was with making an appointment which was a week out. Once the tech confirms its the seal then I'll see what the lead time is from then. At least they got me a loaner in the meantime.

My transfer case seal was already replaced once, and I’m waiting for another seal replacement as we speak. The ETA for the seal is mid November as they are back ordered. Not surprising with the amount of trucks that seem to have faulty seals. Oh, and the transfer case was removed and resealed because the case seal was leaking as well. This will be the third trip to the dealer for transfer case leaks (6200 miles on truck now - new as of June this year). The second dealer is much better than the first though. I’m also still battling rental reimbursement. Good times.

If the T-case seal is found to be leaking, is it ok to continue to drive the truck until it can be fixed assuming 4wd is not used and the leak isn't so serious that the T-case runs dry? I would think so, which is why Im a little confused as to why some of you fellas are leaving your trucks at the dealerships and driving loaners while waiting for the back-ordered seal.

I’m driving mine; this time, but the first repair they only replaced the seal and didn’t repair the case seal. The second time at the dealer, they removed and resealed the transfer case. Now, the seal is leaking again and I’m driving it. It was leaking a lot when the case seal was leaking and I knew it should not be driven; the first dealer agreed despite incorrect attempts to repair it. I said I’d stop by for a t case fluid top off/ level check soon and the dealer was fine with that. It doesn’t leak much when it’s only the seal, at least in my case of having 2 seal leaks so far.

Same here, Dealer was cool with me taking it, that was a month ago. I have no idea how long mine was leaking so I topped it off at that time, was about 1/2 to 3/4 of a qt low. Dealer pushed the availability back to late November so I borrowed some tools from the shop guys here at work & replaced it in the parking lot here. So far so good.

Update:
Dealer had the seal in stock here in So. Cal they were able to get it done rather quickly after they finally got it over to a tech.
