Ram Shows Its 2025 Heavy Duty Before Official Unveiling

Wow, that is one messed up redesign. The CEO has pretty much done this company in with all the cost cutting, layoffs, and moving engineering overseas to people that have no idea of the US market.
 
The front end on the Rebel…..like what are we doing?! Horizontal, vertical, some crisscross. ‍

I was told to day by a fleet sales manager the 2025 may not have the Cummins, I was like say what, said no word yet what engine the 2025 will have and he felt the 8 speed trans will be a weak link, an no this is not a joke its what i was told...

He should be fired for talking nonsense about the vehicles he is supposed to sell. Good ol salesmen talking out of their rectum

Only reason I paid any attention to what he said was because he was the fleet sale manager, one would like to guess he was some what knowledgeable about the new 2025's

You mean the trucks that are not out yet?…. Fleet guys are the worst they dont really need to do anything but make a good deal as companys go to get fleet trucks they usually get quotes from 2-3 places before buying they dont usually care about the vehicles features. its the every day salesmen that need to know the trucks to convince customers to buy.

I've seen pics of the "new" engine. Different for sure, but it's still a Cummins and I've been told still the 6.7L.

Ya I don’t think the ZF will be a week link. That brand of transmission is in very large tractor and ag machinery as well as many construction applications. I don’t think the Germans will get caught with their Lederhosen down around their ankles.
 
I like the black vs chrome look.

Saw some info that the 3500 SRW megacab version will not be led - will be the traditional lights. That is a shame.

Now how does that make any sense…… whoever shared that info was just full of it… it looks like halogen headlights may not even be an option as no pics of them have been released yet infact the link at the first post states that they wont have halogens in any trim…..

Why if it works it works IMHO ford had the same cab for 18 years and no one complained. Besides id rather they focused on building a truck that is much more “bullet proof” than worrying about cab design. As much as i don't think the 8 speed is needed at least the trans will be better than the 68RFE which is still a great trans.

I believe I read somewhere they are going to an all led light set up across the board.
