Cooling Fan Noise

Noticed an increasingly suspicious sound of metal clinking together from the front of the engine when idling. Loosened the belt tension and manually spun the water pump and belt tensioner pulleys and did not hear or feel anything. Spun the fan and immediately heard the noise I always am hearing at idle. I felt up at the front of the fan at the center and could move some sort of cover. I cannot see what it actually is and felt no screws or bolts, but it is that piece making the noise. The fan spins freely. I've searched the internet for what this piece even looks like, searched numerous cooling fan replacement video on YouTube replacing the fan and hub, but no one shows this cover. Anyone have a clue how it is actually secured? Is there something maybe loose on the connection from the fan to the engine that will tighten this cover?

Thanks!

I did finally find a YouTube video of someone replacing their fan and clutch on a 2022 and showed the front of it that faces the radiator. There are no bolts or screws that can tell but the cover in the middle is definitely loose and causing the metal clinking noise as it rotates.
Any ideas on how that cover secures and how to tighten?
Appears to be riveted, but how would the rivets come loose?

I dropped off my truck at the dealer yesterday for a rattle coming from the same area. They said tensioner is binding so they're replacing that and a new belt.

Yeah, I wish mine was just the tensioner. I had bought a new one just in case, but upon further inspection, the tensioner and the water pump pulley turned just fine.
