What issues can be expected from hanging a heavy front bumper? Specifically suspension components

Are you buying or building a front bumper that weighs that much?
I am doing a Move full bumper/brush guard on mine that is going to be about 200lbs

Not HD specific, so this could be completely moot. I put a 180 lb bumper/ winch assembly on the front of my 18 wrangler. It sagged the front about 1”, which progressed to 1.75” over a couple years, which in itself was expected. What I didn’t expect was the extra mass hanging so far forward, on a sagged suspension, meant I’d hit bump stops over speed bumps or deep pot holes. While the front was only sagged 1.75” at rest, it didn’t take much more weight to sag it even more, either by standing on it, or bouncing it over rolling roads. The problem was solved with a lift that had higher rate springs, and a 3/4” puck leveling kit. But, totally different animal. Softer front end, with minimal up travel. Not sure what the travel is on our HD, or if we’d have the same issue, but 300 lbs that far forward of the coils will absolutely create sag and a softer feel up front.

Your JK or JL was not designed to handle a plow out front like the HD trucks are…. With my 800lbs plow that sticks out over 2ft past the bumper is lifted the truck drops about 1.25” and it does not hit the bumps unless i hit a very large bump.

Correct. I didn’t even think of the weight and position of a plow. A 300lb bumper is still a pig, but it’s being held much closer than a 800lb plow. If you’re not having an issue, OP won’t either.
