What did you do TO your RAM today?

Me, I started using the boxes because going to the pump was a pain, and now the same price. I just buy them at Costco for best price.

In almost 6 years of DEF usage I have used one box, and that’s a pain. I consider it an emergency thing only compared to the ease of a pump.

Having multiple pump options within 10 minutes of work does help.
 
I only use the boxes because a def pump is about 20 miles from me and generally a lack of them in my area.

I forgot to dump a jug in before our last camping trip and stopped at a truck stop in Monument Co and they didn't have DEF at the pump. :mad:

I just had to get a new battery in mine last month. It died on me. 5 years isn't bad IMO.
 
Got new rubbers today. I got a flat on the way to work so I thought I would go ahead and replace them because I hated the Nittos and they were getting close to end of life anyhow. Ended up getting Toyo Open Country A/T's.

Last week: finally got around to installing the passive entry door handles. i bought the handles a year or two ago, and the wiring from Jimmy, but just have been putting it off knowing it would be a pretty involved job, and it was.

But definitely an big upgrade not having to dig keys out of pocket to lock and unlock truck, especially with push button start. Keys can stay in pocket at all times.

Better pictures tomorrow but scored a heck of a deal on a rear black bumper but man it was a process to swap over the rear back up sensors and my trailer plugs were frozen on so that was fun removing. But in the end I got it swapped over. One step closer to the night edition I've been wanting.

Rotated tires, took out method center hubcaps and painted hubs Black. Then waited for nightfall and washed the truck! Unfortunately Arizona water is crappy and even with misting it and blow drying it immediately after still got streaks and water spots in the dark. Will have to hit it with detail in the morning.

Took me about 4 hours for driver door, and about 2 hours for the passenger door. Passenger door was quicker because: a) I had an extra set of hands vs the driver door I did by myself; b) after doing the driver door first I knew what I was doing so I could be quicker/more efficient on the passenger side; c) I had a stubborn connector on the driver door that fought me for a while.
I also spent an hour or so before watching YouTube how tos and reading other posts on the installation.

Rear antenna installation was quick and easy; as was AlphaOBD programming (if you’ve used the software before)

It’s definitely a job though. More involved than I thought. I didn’t realize you needed to remove the door glass from the regulator until I started digging into the DIY. That was the scariest part for me, since I’ve never done that, didn’t want to break the glass or damage anything in there.

Full service on Snowflake today.
Much more happy this time with the results. The gearbox looked way better inside this time. Also gave the engine bay and the chassis a decent wash after our trip. I would have loved to wash the whole vehicle but the wind is blowing a gale here.
