Camper Shell compatibility

I have a Silver 2019 2500 Mega Cab Limited that has a 6'4" bed. I have been looking for a camper shell. Looks like they are $3500-$4,000 new. I found on Facebook for $500 that is also silver (might not be exact color) from a 2016 2500 6'4" bed. Any chance this will fit my truck? Here is a pic of the shell and my truck.

the red is what changed from the 4th gen to the 4.5 gen facelift to the best of my knowledge. This is for a crew cab, I can’t comment on the mega cab.

Ask the seller if you can "try it on." I would think all would work just fine

I grabbed a pre-2019 canopy for my 2022 with the 3rd brake light camera. I had to push the canopy back about a 1/4" to clear. You would never notice it from an aesthetics standpoint. If the color is a match snag that thing! $500 is a good deal if its in good shape.

Agree and I bought it. Color is slightly lighter than my truck but it looks good. I post a pic once I get it

Looks great! I can't see spending 4.5 to 5K on a dang canopy!

Looks great. What did it cost to have it repainted if you don't mind me asking? Also what part of the country are you in.

I bout a 2015 ish cap for my 19. It was white and local shop painted it black for 500. I went to a cap dealer and order the slider/removable front window to replace the original solid pane so I could clean better. Also order new seal tape and it was ready to go.

I made a cap plug to plug into my fifth wheel 7 pin in the bed. Works great and kept me from having to splice any wires and no hanging wires if I need to take the cap off.

White wire with purple tracer under the bed is the brake light feed. You have to drop the spare to get to them

Do you know what the other two wires are? I'm looking for a power wire to put some aux lights in my cap.
