Looking for any alternatives to the Kaodtech bypass cable, as they are unavailable, and don’t have any sort of ETA of when they will be.

Has anyone purchased an alternative harness and has had good things to say?

Thanks

I believe @Jimmy07 does them. Maybe or I saw one on the Tazer obd site.

I bought one on Amazon. Seemed to work ok, but I wasn't able to do much with my laptop. Only turn off the auto idle shutdown.SmartSelect_20240826_202834_Amazon Shopping.jpg

Those type modules are ill suited for use in HD Rams because you have to pull the EVIC out to install/remove.

The cable style also affords one the opportunity to split the OBD and run more than one reader/device. One on the unsecure side, one on the secure side.

It is easy to install and i just leave it there. You don't have to remove it. Not an issue at all.

Finally caved and purchased alfaobd again. Apparently the one I downloaded previously from 2017. Isn’t allowing me to use it. Am I able to purchase one of the security bypass cables from Amazon or is there a specific site? I would like to disable the horn chirps when I leave the truck.
