Thinking About Taking the Plunge

Hey all! I'm a current 1500 owner seriously considering taking the plunge to a 3500. Attached is my current truck.

I'm a commercial truck driver, so I'm no stranger to diesel engines and larger vehicles. Life circumstances have changed since I bought my 1500, but I've always known a 3500 was where I wanted to be. I plan on hauling a travel trailer on the weekends and daily driving it otherwise.

I've done some digging in the forums for some questions I do have, but either I'm blind and can't find the questions I'm looking for, or I just haven't dug far enough. I would love if someone could potentially DM me so I don't clog up any further forums with my questions.

Loving being here so far!

For a DD, if you don’t see yourself hauling very heavy or a 5th wheel, I would stick to a 2500. I have both, a 3500 with air ride and a 2500 with coils. I put 80 miles per day on the 2500 and the ride is nice. The 3500 rides nice with the 5th wheel, but not as nice without.

I appreciate the input, but there's insurance reasons I want a 3500 over a 2500, and being a commercial truck driver, anything will ride better than the tractor I'm in every day.
