Hey all-
Jeff here in the Hillsborough/Durham area in NC. I purchased my first Ram last week, a new to me 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie (gas), with 3800 miles on it. It'll be replacing a 2004 Silverado Z71, with 278k miles on it. I've had that truck since 2005, so it is bittersweet to replace it, but we needed more towing power, and going from an extended cab to a crew cab is absolutely life-changing. I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks and decided it was time to say hello. Here's a photo of "Bandit". Can anybody guess where the name came from?

Enjoy the new RAM! I am curious on the towing capacity decal on the drivers door. I've seen some crazy payloads on the newer 2500s.

Howdy neighbor. That's a nice looking truck, and nice looking family. I'm sure the kiddos will appreciate the upgrade.

Welcome to the dark side! Nice looking truck!

Ask and ye shall receive…

Interesting how a Limited has more payload than my Big Horn. I’m at 2924.

I know it comes down to options. I can’t imagine my BH has more gadgets than the OPs Limited. Just odd.

Very nice truck OP. Great colors.

Thanks all. A point of clarification, it’s actually a Laramie, I have no idea why I wrote Limited in the original post…I blame sleep deprivation. I edited the post and apologies for the confusion. Those of you with Big horns with a tad less payload, are you diesel or gas? Could that make a difference?

Ahh, Makes a little more sense being a Laramie but still a trim level over the BH which brings more “stuff” on board.

I have a 2021 BH crew cab 4x4 Hemi.
