Hey everyone! So I just picked up a new Prospector XL. I was looking for a full size truck as it fits my needs for work, a truck to explore the pacific north west with my family as I just moved there, and something that was already built out and is covered by the factory warranty. I already love the truck, its a beast! A few issues I have to resolve with the UConnect and some additions I'd like to add with your guys' assistance! That is a good looking truck. I see front parking sensors and you mentioned the 12” U-connect - is the base truck a Laramie?
Did AEV mod the interior at all? Frankly I’m not really familiar with AEV since my off-road vehicle is a 4Runner but I’d like to see more.
 
AEV has some sweet parts. I added bumpers to my truck from them, love the look and more importantly function. Welcome to the forum! Share some of your adventures along the way, we all love trail reports and pics.

This truck is Big Horn, Has the 12” Uconnect, tech package, Level 2, night edition, protection Package, and some other goodies from factory…it was really well equipped as a big horn. Originally came with Cloth Seats but AEV upgraded them to their Leather. Apart from the seats all the interior AEV stuff is cosmetic.

I just came from a built GX460 actually and have been mainly a toyota guy, had a 392XR wrangler for a couple years as well. Love the Toyota platform but just wanted to move on to a full size truck!

Drove the truck from Phoenix to Idaho but went on a little detour in Sedona. Broken Arrow trail and made it through the devils stair case. Its a tight squeeze at some spots but made it through just fine.IMG_7444.jpegIMG_7437.jpegIMG_7439.jpegIMG_3579.jpeg
 
Looking at the pictures and it's hard to tell, is the truck matte FDE? It doesn't look "shiny".
 
Hit the Hayden Lake View route, mainly just fire roads but it was nice to be in nature. Did a little climb on a hill that looked steep, truck got over it like it was nothing. Glad I took the Machete with me to deal with some branches/brush on the trail. We’ll see how long I can keep the wrap in good shape/avoid pin stripes lol
