Thanks for all the info. I think I'm going to give the Kendas a try this time around

Maybe search around for other reviews before deciding. Maybe different vehicle with different characteristics, but lots of the Jeep bros go back to Falkens or BFG after complaining of uneven wear, constant need to rebalance, and vibration.

Hopefully the Kendas are great. FWIW I just put the ATW4 on my truck about 1500 miles ago and so far Ive been impressed. I purchased them mainly for the 3peak rating for the winters up here but they were pretty easy to balance, road noise is minimal for an AT and the ride well.

Im intrigued to see how they perform this winter but in the rain we just got they were great.

I have the Kenda Kelver's on our elk hunting trailer and they have worked well as a trailer tire in mud/snow/ice/dirt/etc.

Balancing and alingment seem to be the main cause of uneven tire wear from the reviews I've seen. Buts common with any tire.
I run balance beads and rotate every oil change, so no issues for me.
The only drawback I can see is the 3 peak snow rating. Not sure if the Kendas have that. I have chains just in case. But I'm sure it won't be an issue.

IIRC from a youtube video about the Klever RT's, supposedly all but 2 of the sizes passed the 3 peak snowflake test, and since 2 tires didn't pass they opted not to put the 3 peak rating on any of them.

Did they say which sizes?
I'm running 35x12.50r17s

Guys run them year round and one or 2 even plow with them you should be good they have a nice tread pattern that bites well and enough sipes to keep control on hard pack snow and some ice

You guys dont get Maxxis Razar’s in the US? Its my no1 choice. Cant wait to put a set on my 3500 when the originals are worn out. I will go for the AT the Nexen’s on my truck is horrible and noisy.

we do. I’ve got a set on my jeep after they performed well on my buddies jeep

I could talk about my experiences with BFG KO2s but I would piss a lot of people off. I'm on my second set of Falkin Wild peaks and I've had two sets of Cooper AT3s and now a set of Wildpeak AT4. While I only have 5k but so far, they are the best ones yet. I will have to see how long they last. I have towed with them most of those miles with a 5th wheel and car trailer, they run great in rain, I'm was happy with them on rocks in Moab, sand and mud. Yet they ride really smooth on pavement but have gained a bit of noise. I want to get 45000 miles out of them.

Owned a set of KO2s (35x12.5x18) on my old JKU, outside of being too wide for the jeep I thought they were good overall, not necessarily standout at anything. They did not fair great in real intense rain or snow/ice in my perspective.

Hated the Toyo RT (35x12.5x20) on an old GMC 1500. Absolutely terrible in the rain/snow and didn't make up for it in the dirt or mud. Loud as hell and wore faster than I liked for their performance.

Falken AT3Ws (37x12.5x17) on my dodge 2500. Absolutely amazing tire. Quiet for most of their life, great snow and ice performance, great in the rain, absolutely horrific in any wet off-road conditions. I don't understand how they can handle so well on wet pavement, and yet I almost got stuck on my own lawn in the rain, and caked up so much dirt/mud off road at times. Still, overall they are such a great mix of capabilities it's really hard to dislike them.

Falken RT (38x13.5x17) on my dodge 2500. Truck became more dedicated as daily and off-road rig. They are worse in the snow than the AT3W but not by a huge amount, just notable. They are vastly superior in the dirt and mud though. I can easily crawl through trails, rocks, etc. that the AT3W struggled with.

I was very interested in getting the AT4W but decided to go the RT route for now, and gotta say I'm glad I did. I am also very interested in the KO3 but until they come out with at least a 37, I'm holding off.

Eventually, I'll likely run a set of winter tires (AT4W or perhaps the KO3 if it becomes available) and then jump to a proper MT for the late spring through fall.

I know some guys were talking about the Kendras. I've heard good reviews on them but what makes them great is also their weakness, soft sidewall.
