Picked up my new 2024 Ram 3500 Laramie Diesel last Saturday, drove home 90 miles without incident. 2 days later with 255 miles on the truck, I get the water in fuel warning. I followed the procedure for draining the fuel filters and the warning light went out for about 100 miles, then it reappeared. Followed the procedure once again and got rid of the light.
Being a brand new truck, I'm not thrilled about the issue but at the same time, I understand things happen. Considering the dealership is 90 miles from my house, if it happens again should I continue to drain the filters, bring it to a local dealership OR, send it on a flat bed back to the dealership I bought it from?
