I here tale that Southland makes a good trailer …… how do you like it ?

I absolutely love it. It's very solid, tows easy, and hauls heavy with the 14K Axel's. Highly recommend it. Southland is a great Canadian company.

I would like to say this is the sketchiest load I have hauled ……but probably doesn’t even make top ten. More straps and stole the trucks floor mats to save Sammy’s paint and good to go.

Took a trip to VW and the Hatfield-McCoy trail system last week. It was the first long distance tow with the truck ~1100 miles round trip. The Hemi/8-speed/3.73 did a great job. Definitely towed better than my old Tundra, which wasn't too bad on the same trip in prior years, but with a smaller trailer. The ram, with a bigger trailer and more power got better mileage than the old rig and just felt more confident.

I'm in the middle of a cross-country move so the truck has been getting a workout. The first trip was with our camper and we've now made 2 trips with a 24' enclosed trailer. Almost 7000 miles with the trips combined, so far. The truck has been great and a joy to drive

E-Z to forget we were pulling our 36' fifth wheel. This RAM 3500 Dually Longhorn is a dream for pulling our retirement home on wheels and even better with the Digital Rear View camera on the back of the 5th wheel. U-Connect seems a bit glitchy lately though. trailer lamp check only works when it feels like it, will have it looked at next trip to the dealer before the warranty runs out.
