Happy 4th or July All,

Say, I know I saw a posting that someone had here that talked about how to lower the tire pressure in the computer. I have 35 K02s and do not want to run the 7 thousand pounds that the duratrax tires required. How can I drop the tire pressure so the dash doesn't freak out?

You need a programmer like EzLynk (Which I use) or AlfaOBD, etc

Which one? The site is a bit hard to follow.
This is the programmer I use....

Here is where I bought it, keep in mind that there are no available tunes for the engine/transmission for 2023 and up, so call them and the price will be much lower without the tunes.
I simply bought the tuner to change tire size, fog light dropout, and TPMS threshold changes. There some other functions, but I don't use them.

AlfaOBD or JScan.

These are not "programmers (tuners) per se," they are apps that allow you to modify certain settings in the truck computers like the BCM (body control module), etc.

1st question, 2500 or 3500?

2nd question, Apple or Android?

AlfaOBD only works on Android or Windows.

Then go over to the appropriate thread for either to see the recommended OBD readers (mobile device type also matters) and a proper bypass cable.

EZLink and the like are unnecessary unless you're looking to tune/delete the truck. These tuners will not offer the full capability of settings that can be done with AlfaOBD or Jscan. Generally only a small subset like remove speed limiter, set tire size, and a few other parameters directly related to the engine tunes.
