Hoping to get some intel here. I just installed some 4th gen Laramie doors on my 2022 Tradesman. Fit like a glove. I couldn’t stand the hard plastic armrests so after 2 years of ownership, feeling a little fancy, I decided to splurge on EBay and purchase 4th gen Laramie door panels .. they look great!

Completely changes the look and feel of the truck. Pinky’s up!!

The door panels are wired for OEM ambient lighting.. my quest to to find a way to get them tied into the courtesy lights since i don’t have a separate ambient light dimmer switch.. can anyone point me in the right direction? @Jimmy07 ? I’d really like to get these things wired up.. please and thanks in advance

that looks great. Guess I’ll have to stick with the gel pads from Amazon on my tradesman door panels :D

Look on EBay.. i got this entire set for 800$ i know that’s not cheap but i just couldn’t stand that hard plastic.. i also ordered some Katzskin leather seats but you could get Clazzio leather seat covers for @500$ if you wanted.. now i have a poor man’s LaramieCapture 765.jpeg

I used a Higher density foam for mine. Those are nice Panels.

Crickets.. hoping to hear from someone on how to get the ambient lighting hooked up.. at least to the courtesy lights

You could run the wires through from the door panel through to where the under dash courtesy/footwell lights hook up and splice in to them. I put the under dash courtesy lights in my 22’ Tradesman.

Any pics or diagrams to what wires you hooked up to?

It’s almost impossible to get pics with the way they are located. On the driver side, right above the obd port laying on the ledge under there, there is 2 connectors and the small one folded over and taped to the larger one is the one for the footwell light. On the passenger side, you have to remove the lower glove box, the panel under it and the panel on the end of the dash. It will also be folded back and taped to the harness. It’s a small 2 conductor black plastic connector. I’ll see if I can get a picture of the one on the driver side since I only have to remove the light to get to it and don’t have to remove any panels. They come on with the map and dome lights.
It looks like a yellow and black wire in it.

You don’t have this little guy? My tradesman has the single ambient light and it has its own dimmer rheostat
