Many questions on 2022 Ram Big Horn

I just went from a 2018 Big Horn V6 to a 2022 Big Horn V6. So far I have questions regarding the A/C while using remote start. My last one would remote start so I could leave my dog in the truck for up to 20 minutes (just had to restart after 10 minutes). This one did nothing. My dog was ok but I was pissed. I assume the system won't work using heat in the Wisconsin/Minnesota winters. Will they update the system so it does not decrease the fan while on the phone or text? This is annoying in hot/cold weather. My '18 had HD radio and it appears that this one does not and the sound sucks. Speaking of sound, I have to crank the volume to 38 to hear who I am talking to on the phone. Is there a way to shut of the auto start/stop? It is annoying as well. There are many differences that make zero sense as the '18 was pretty awesome. I will say this one rides very nice and is very quiet. I get that this sounds all negative but these are the few things I want to address. the other 85% of the truck is perfect.

Is your truck a 1500 series or do you have a typo about coming from and going to a V6?

Sorry, I stayed with the married man's Ram, no balls version - lol. I kept with the V6. It has plenty of power and torque for what I use it for. Plus I drive about 55K/yr.

With the mentions of auto start/stop and V6, I'm also going to guess you have a 1500. This site (HDRams.com) is dedicated to the HD trucks, so while some members do have knowledge of the 1500s, you would likely get more relevant information pertaining to your truck over on the sister site https://5thgenrams.com/

Thanks! I didn’t even think about the HD part. I had read a few threads which were similar and most of the features I believe are the same. Either way thanks for the heads up.

For the AC or heated seats and wheel to come on with a remote start, the comfort settings must be turned on in U connect. My previous truck was a 5th gen 2019 Ram Bighorn, and that is how that was.
