In my search for the perfect wheel size and offset, I found it; the GMC 2500 ZR2 wheels; 18x9 with +32mm offset. The only problem, the bolt pattern is a 180mm circle vs the RAM on 165.1mm. Has anyone ever redrilled the hubs on a RAM for this bolt pattern?

Here's a link to the wheels (with 35" tires) on ebay:

AEV also has a wheel for the ZR2 (same specs) and would look better on the RAM. Maybe AEV will make this same wheel available for the RAM with the same offset?

Kind of like the Kaltas they make for the Ram. Here’s their 17x10s

I like the new Chevy AEV trucks. They loo sharp

I want to be able to install 12.50 tire (either 35 or 37" tall) and not have the wheel too narrow. Also, I don't want it to stick out or rub the radius arms, hence the desire for 32mm positive offset and 9" width...

Yea I ran the AEV Saltas on my power wagon that were 8.5” wide and I wished they were 9” wide.

I don’t know about the hubs as an option. But, I did contact wheel redrill about modifying some 8x180 GM wheels for me on my RAM. But, it was a no go because the max they can redrill in diameter change is like 6mm.

That crooked AF AEV badge.

Maybe it's an optical illusion from the photo, but looks whack to me.

My mild alignment/level OCD kicks in hard. LOL
My ocd does the same. But I actually thought the AEV emblem was level, but the prospector xl emblem was crooked af below it ‍

So actually the prospector badge is level, the AEV isn’t. I put a level on it awhile back. I’m actually pretty OCD and for some odd reason it hasn’t really bother me.

It's not the "level," it's the misalignment with the door edges/panels.

Now I've got a little mouth tick going on too.

I typically remove all badges off my trucks for this reason. It’s either misaligned or not level and quite honestly there’s too many of em.

Put some dirt on it and no one will notice.

Driving that beast around with more tire dress and ceramic wax than a Chemical Guys marketing vehicle is the problem. :)

As the kids say “you’re doing too much” or “being extra” not that it’s a crazy idea it’s just silly to make a custom set of wheels

Be a normal person and pick out wheels that fit your truck :D There are plenty of options.

Just my opinion (:

I figured on the wheel there was less room to redrill than on the hub. My best bet is to wait for the 18x9 Ram AEV wheel, and if it doesn't come or isn't what I want, then just get AEV's 17x8.5 with 27mm positive offset...

Well, now I know the 'new' wheel will not work for me; NEGATIVE 7mm OFFSET ?!?
