Too much oil and poor dealer help

Oh mine has been worse it's been a inch onto the cable lol. social media the way it is and how Cummins just got hammered by the EPA you think they would be on top of it. I post something funny everytime Ram Trucks post on Facebook, it's there for half a day and deleted lol.

I explained the whole back ground and everything that had been performed. He confirmed the vibration and motor sounds are not normal, he did do an injector kill test on all of them to see if it went away. The test did nothing and vibration still there, I ask to make an appointment for regens and he simply said to have Ram care reach out to him and he will share his thoughts.

The fact he took time to hear you out and DIDNT give an opinion means he’s smart not to create false hope on a possible fix and will dive into it when it’s in his possession. Smart in my opinion. Maybe he can get things moving in a direction that’s promising and the fact he was a tech he’s aware of the fuel dilution damage that’s already done. Hopeful it gets something done for you

I gave him my case number and STAR number. I am sure he he will read it. I am hoping this is the last trip my truck has to take to the dealer. I am at #12 regen and they are down to 40miles.

Actually lived in Vancouver for a long time and well I am in hillsboro which is not portland. Vancouver is actually closer to Portland....
 
I recently had a local shop do my oil change (about 28k miles on the truck) and told them to please let it drain for at least 30 mins and then I only gave them 11qts of oil to put in. I think they let it drain long enough and I'm pretty sure they didn't top it off with their own oil without charging me - yet my dipstick shows it is slightly over-full. Explain that! I don't get it. I just keep running it, screw it. I have yet in the 28k+ miles to have the dipstick show it is just in the safe zone...it's always a little over.

I'm going to just do the change myself next time and start with 10qts and let it sit overnight and see what happens.
 
I got an update today, they did a live test reading 1800 Rpms for 15min straight 2 times. He said all the emissions seem to be reading and functioning correctly and no red flags. They are looking into the motor not running correctly and causing soot level to rise too fast. They think the noise and vibration is coming from the crank and they are going to drop pans and pull value cover. They are busy with other scheduled work so maybe next week?
