If so how much of a ride improvement and how was the install?

This one has me curious, hopefully someone already tried it. The few reviews are pretty good.

I've got them on my 3500 with air assist. Hard to tell how much they alone improved the ride , since I got them put on along with the full progressive air assit leaf kit which made the biggest difference.

The owner of the shop I got all the work done has the same truck but no carli shackles and he said he can't really tell the difference in trucks with or without them.

My first choice would be the springs, but problem is I'm on the 2.5 Carli kit, and those springs are designed for the 3.25" system. So I think my truck would loose level, and then the existing shock length would ,maybe be an issue. The cost of all that holding me back. So left hoping the shackles make a slight improvement.

I have Thuren shackles that I installed the same time as my Carli add a Pack so hard to tell how much difference they made. Rear end does flex and droop pretty good.

I hadn't realized the Carli add-a pack was to help soften the ride out... maybe that's the better option.

It helps on bigger bumps from hitting that overload leaf. There’s only maybe an inch before the three top leafs engage with that onverload so it doesn’t take much. I can tell it smoothed out bigger bumps. You will sag a little more with heavier loads. I have a very tongue heavy toyhualer so I get more sag now.

Ok that’s good to know. I tow but nothing to heavy and I have bags with day stars so sounds like a perfect option. Install pretty smooth?

Add a pack was pretty simple, the shackles are little bit of pain wrestling around the leaf spring.
