2023 RAM AFTERMARKET RADIO QUESTION.

I've got a 2023 ram slt 5500 with uconnect 8.4 and I'm installing a Kenwood dmx1057xr. It came out of a 2022 Ram 2500. Where can I get a harness that fits my truck so I don't have to hardwire and cut things. This is whats behind my radio in the pics.

Not that I've changed out a head unit in 20 years, but crutchfield was always my go-to.

Connect select Kenwood and JVC radios to compatible iDatalink T-harnesses

It looks like you'll need some other adapters as well, but I bet they can point you in the right direction.

When I looked up my truck they showed nothing for a 2023 ram slt 5500. I don't think it even went up to 5500 I think it only showed 3500

It should be the same just most company's wont show C&C as an option as they dont think there is enough of a market.

There doesn't seem to be anything to retain all the factory functions of the truck with the Kenwood eXcelon dmx1057xr installed.. If anyone can help me with what I need to do this please let me know

Put the OEM system back in that is the only option.

All the audio places I call day they can do it but won't sell me the parts. Lol crazy

Because its not worth the hassle to lose all the oem system. Why not just an amp and speakers instead?

The Kenwood I've purchased will do everything that the factory system can do plus some like monitor my truck's health and all that stuff connects directly to the OBD

It can change the trucks settings?

Edit, it is not compatable with the HD rams
