I like your sense of humor :D

Isn't it the technically the same principal as a tow dolly similar to what an over the road truck uses between the 1st and 2nd trailer when pulling doubles ? LOL ........ I would hate to be the one to back it up..

There's a high price one out there that I've seen that's really nice, just like the semi tow dolly, but I saw that pic and had to post. I guess this would work well but you would still have to have plenty of truck, just not set up for fiver tow. I would have to believe though, that this gives some people a false sense of comfort to think they can tow more than what there vehicle can actually haul, IE: brakes & hp

So I don't know guys. I'm thinking I may have thrown my money away. All I needed was an old suv and a truck bed to make the dream work.

@Rich Just think, it might solve your clearance issues and you could put extra things in the pickup bed like Diesel, Def, BBQ Grill, Camping Gear, Spare Tires and Wheels, and the list keeps on going. This way you wouldn't have to get your RV or Pickup dirty. If you need more breaking power, you could replace that old OEM Differential with a HD axle with large electric brakes to work with your RV.....

Im thinking rail to rail fuel tank. Get me 1000 gal stock tank with a pto pump

So , what did I do to the truck today? I made the truck drive 160 miles down the coast in a sand storm and give me an average of 10.3 mpg. Pretty good, i believe. Took a picture of the pin box now that i moved it all the way down to give me maximum height, wich as you can see is now pretty much at bed level when I put it in jack knife situation. Sitting nose high on the fiver at 13'8" so I don't want to lift up the hitch head anymore. What else did i do to the truck. I ran it down to quarter tank, so I'll see if this week long stay if my low fuel light comes on

also forgot to post as we were coming across Hwy 5 - the 101 we got to a tunnel going through a mountain. It was pretty narrow but not to bad were I had to slow down. Got half way through and come across a curve inside tunnel. Holy mackerel, the front sensors picked up the wall going through the curve and on the evic a big old brake light and alarm went off. It was only on for a second do I don't know if it applied the brake or not but that freaked me out afterwards when I had time to think about it and was glad it didn't slam the brakes on and put me in the wall in the tunnel. Guess that's the downside of driving a vehicle that has more brains than you got.

If the option was enabled, I expect you would have had a braking event. That's why mine is set to warning only.

13' - 8" ? Around here, that would be to close for my comfort. Semi trailers have a max height of 13' - 6" and bridges are built accordingly.

Well i should also add. My ac unit is at 13' even. I leave my dish satellites up there so I dont have to set them up every time wich takes me up to the 13'8"

Stellantis , really. How did fca and psa come up with that medication name

Haha I thought the exact same. Would be perfect in a big pharma TV ad. No way that sticks for too long.

OA

Haha, I like that. Except it should say. Before buying, talk to your dr as it may induce temporary insanity, dillusions of technical prowess, mental anguish, lashing out at others, manic spending, stress, diareah, alcohol consumption, marital problems, never satisfied and wanting to fix new options, hrs and hrs of phone calls, and of coarse being exiled from family and friends due to Loss of coping mechanisms in the brain.
Im not a dr and i do not advise patients but I do suggest taking two of these before every meal and lots of group therapy can help, but in some can have adverse effects. If you experience these side affects, stop use immediately

I would rather suffer all of the above symptoms of Stellantis than to be diagnosed from the incurable ferd syndrome
