2024 Order Tracking & Discussion

Noticed this AM that my same build is now $7845.00 cheaper than when I ordered my truck. What are you guys doing in regards to the new pricing? I do know with Mark Dodge we are price locked as for incentives and what not. But when I signed for my truck I was told if there was a better deal upon arrival I would get that. How is this working for you guys that ordered with the old pricing and have taken delivery these last few days?

I don’t think anyone knows for sure yet. Whoever gets their truck delivered first and finalizes the deal with Mark Dodge will then know exactly what the deal will be. I know if MSRP would have gone up we would get the lower price but not sure what happens when the MSRP actually goes down. ??

Did you get a window sticker yet? My build is also less but my window sticker did not change to reflect the new msrp.

The tracker shows my limited built as of 3/10 and my window sticker reflects the lower price. Interesting, my saved build has the new base price, but still shows the old limited package price of $7,030 vs $3,030 on the sticker.

That’s the reason. They didn’t do the price adjustment until 3/5 and after. So yours would still be the “old/original” MSRP of when you ordered.
Curious to see how they deal with the 10% rebate on the orders with changed msrp

I explained my situation in a post yesterday, but I'm also ~$7500 less in the MSRP. The original 10% was going to be ~$10500, so thusfar the original will be better for me even with the favorable tax burder on the new price.

My dealer all along was starting at affiliate pricing (~1% below invoice) then dipping 2 more % into his profit/holdback. The affiliate pricing and 10% were all provided by corporate and not at dealer's expense. With the new invoicing, the profit/holdback will scale down with it, and without a new incentive mated to the new MSRP, there is no way the new pricing will work better for me. New pricing needs about $2500 in cash/incentive in order to work for me and my dealer. I believe Mark Dodge will be same as they were like 4% below invoice as their offer if I remember correctly.

I do have yet another $1000 bonus cash good thru 4/11. My understanding is those cannot parlay with a rebate, but they can with an incentive. So perhaps I'm only needing $1500 cash incentive to come out ahead. We'll run the numbers soon. I understand where my dealer sits as far as profit, and he understands where I sit as far as what I agreed I can afford. We were both happy with the original deal as worst case fallback.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this. As there is a lot of confusion on it. Mark Dodge told me they did not need my affiliate code until the truck arrived? I wonder how they factored in yours already.

How did you manage to get the $1000 bonus cash? I have been refreshing the ram page a lot and I have't received anything.

You don't need affiliate code until the truck arrives, Mark Dodge is correct. They can factor it in, because they know it is 1%.

To get an affiliate code, you would either need an employer partner code, or join "Tread Lightly" at least 30 days before your truck arrives. He didn't need me to join Tread Lightly as my employer was already in the list.

I remember in my Ford ordering days, getting a bonus cash popup was SUPER hard. But for Ram, I was occasionally searching inventory, or refreshing the incentives pages, during microbreaks at work. I think I have received 4 of the popups (and one was even on phone so it doesn't require desktop browser) all spaced between 1 or 2 weeks apart. My latest one was a week ago so they still randomly pop up. Even though I know I won't be able to use it in conjuction with a rebate, I still fill them out because you never know...
