Update on my timeline:
3/27/19-Vehicle Ordered
4/4/19-VIN Provided at my request
4/10/19-RAM chat let me know I was in D1 Status (and had been for 8 days)
4/23/19- "I" status provided by chat
4/24/19- “JB” Status provided by chat, I think to do bed liner
4/25/19- “KZ” status provided by chat, now we wait!
4/30/19- gave up on chat and called in, was given a rail arrival date in Utah of 5/9, they estimate it will be to the dealer by 5/20
5/13/19- Confirmation from Dealer as well as chat agent that the truck was unloaded in the rail yard in Draper, UT last week and is waiting to be loaded to a truck.
5/21/19- The truck is loaded on a vehicle carrier and on its way to Boise! Hoping for a quick turnaround on the PDI so I can pick up Thursday

The truck is on the ground at the dealer now! I am hoping for a quick PDI turnaround so I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

I picked mine up unofficially today, turned in wife's Jeep for service and they didn't have a loaner so the sales manager came up to me and said just take your new truck. They won't get the funds until Friday. I am stoked.

My truck has been in "I" for 3 days now, for "final inspections". I was just advised by RAM Chat it can be in this stage for 30 days! Anyone with any experience with "I" that can shed some light on how long they waited for it to move forward?

I don't recall exactly how long I was in that Stage, but the "30 Days" reply seems to be a Standard reply for them.
I bet if you check Friday or Saturday it may be moved forward...

OK, My 19 2500 Limited CCSB was put on the rail car 5/15
passed Eagle Pass, TX on 5/18
now Wellington, KS 5/24

What rail info is out there? The final off rail- to truck is Jessup, MD - then trucked to dealer - Warrenton, VA

Dealer has the Rubicon VLS, and it does not show any estimated delivery date.

Example, others with orders, how long did the rail take? 3 weeks? I also know it could sit in the end rail yard before being trucked to dealer.

umm, I guess I will be looking for June Rebate's

5/23 - Status KZ - awaiting rail car loading

Dealer says 2 to 6 weeks at this point. I need it in no more than 4 to make a late June camping trip in southern Colorado. Does anyone know if RAM uses Kansas City Southern for rail shipments into Centreville, IL?

RAM Chat works for while it is being built etc... Once it is built and you get your build sheet, and window sticker, RAM chat doesn't know anymore.

My Salesman at the dealership called me when he received notice that the truck was released from Saltillo, MX and was loaded on rail. The dealership has a program called Rubicon VLS which tells them the pass thru points with time stamps. That is how I know about the 3 locations. He called on 5/25 at 10:15am to let me know it is getting closer. That it was at the Illinois area. But, he still does not get a ETA to the dealership yet.

I do not know how other dealerships keep customers informed. So far my salesman is keeping me informed about tracking along the way. He actually is the one which contacted me, the next morning after I spoke to RAM chat when they told me it was released from the plant. That is when RAM chat told me they would not have any other updates on their end. I was going to call the dealership the next day, but early morning, around 930, he called to say it passed Eagle Pass, TX. Called when it hit the Wellington, KS yard, then again when it hit Illinois. Hopefully it won't be long.

I am liking how my salesman is keeping me informed.

5/24 - Left Saltillo rail yard on Union Pacific

At this point, I have no idea which line it is on and what yards it will pass through on it’s way to St. Louis. Rubicon VLS just shows the origin (Saltillo, MX) and destination (Centreville, IL) of the route.
