No "off" setting?

Drive-in movies!?!?!?!!!!!??? The last one of those shut down around here ~30 years ago. Loved going to those as a kid!! It's really sad when driving through the country and coming across a weed-choked dilapidated drive-in theater with the screen frame still standing but all faded and lonely. Most of the listening posts are smashed down but a few lean upright with hammered window speakers dangling from them. Then one looks to toward the old soda/popcorn/lavatory building and eyes tear up seeing it all shot up, windows smashed out, graffiti covered grime everywhere and decades of rain erosion like splashed acid eating away the cinder block walls. If one stands quietly the ghosts of '56 Chevys Bel Air 2-doors, '69 Camaro SS 396s, '70 Mustang Boss 302s, and the occasional cheap-man's suped'up Chevy Nova SS drift in full of beer drinking guys with t-shirts rolled up over their skinny bicepts and laughing pig-tailed blondes hanging out the windows. Sooooo many good times......

Thanks for sparking those old memories!
Came for the headlight information.

Stayed for the nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Didn't read the whole thread but does setting the parking brake disable all lights? I know it does in some vehicles.

May i ask why? Even if it has the O it does not turn the front lights off with the truck running as we have DRL systems that cant be overridden without alfaobd or similar
Sure. It's because I have those manually operated Cab lights and in marginal light conditions there are times that I miss the automatic headlight "turning on" event. Not a big issue, just more of a minor annoyance.

As with most things .... a first world problem.

Those are a completely different feature from DRLs, and shouldn’t be confused with anything being talked about in this thread. Those are signature lights, and they are on whenever the truck is running. The only way to turn those off is with AlfaOBD.
I have 2020 Ram 2500 with a Boss snow plow and I can switch the aux switch that I control the plow lights with. So without the plow I can turn off the headlights and keep the truck running and not have the lights on.

Thats what i am saying i am in canada and my 19 has the off setting so does my buddies 21 so i think they dropped the off setting for the 22s or at least the Canadian ones
You are correct. Off setting was dropped on the 2022's. My 2022 was an early build truck and it did not have it. 2021's did.

Can anyone of our American Friends that has a 2023 or a 2024 Laramie with a similar build to mine as seen below please help?

Can you please pull your Switch and send a picture of the Part Number Tag for the Switch?

I want to install the switch and with Alfa OBD see if I can get it to work correctly.
From what I am able to see so far I need an American Switch, and then use Alfa OBD to configure truck as a USA landed vehicle.

Just grab a vin off the window sticker below and call the dealer parts dept and say you need the switch for that vin

Thank you.........good idea!

Funny how the window stickers are so different between countries. I have a few items that are listed on the USA sheet that are not on my window sticker but are on my truck and listed in my build sheet.
