Has anyone been able to find the new 2023/2024 digital cluster and swap it yet? I snagged a 2022 2500 in May and was able to find the parts to swap out my original rear view mirror for the rear view mirror camera, but now I'd like to do the digital cluster if possible!

I tried searching before posting and didn't see anyone mention it

Greetings,

What parts did you use to get the digital rear view mirror camera to work?

And i am looking to do the same thing on the cluster.

Greetings,

Thank you. Saw this thou.....

Digital rear view mirror with tow mode. Going to poke them in the eye and see if they will be offering that option.

still following for that digital cluster. looks just way too cool.

I've been hunting for a digital cluster for the past year, have not been able to find one anywhere.

That looks pretty awesome too!

I got one. It’s a work in progress right now. Main thing is trying to get the left steering wheel buttons working.

Subbed.

Hopefully doesn't require 2023 BCM and steering wheel (no wood) in the end. I remember you told me to get the map working it would require the 2023+ radio at least.

If it does end up requiring the 2023 BCM/wheel, I hope it doesnt break anything else in my 2019. With prices of the new trucks, I'd like to just do a bulk upgrade minus the new mirrors.

They changed out the steering wheel now too? Interesting. I hope it doesn't require too many things either, but I guess it's still cheaper than buying a brand new truck!

Yep. Now has 1500 buttons and no more wood for longhorns and limiteds.

Trucks are way more expensive and they’re skimping on that of all things.

We’re going the remap the left buttons with arduino route.
The steering wheel controls message ID change for the new steering wheel setup for 23 reaches out to too many modules.
The guy I got it from had to swap in the 23 wheel, buttons, wheel wiring, steering column control module, custom harness for that, and the BCM. That’s when we found out the abs module and PCM are also affected. That’s when he called it quits on going that route.

Oof. I figured it would be intense.

I’ll probably do the cluster and radio swap once you guys get the arduino I figured out.

Greetings,

Glad i am starting from a 2023, so hopefully alot of this will be resolved due to that when i decide to attempt/

Yours would be easy being a 23 already. You just need the cluster, custom adapter harness, and the left steering wheel switch with the menu pages button.
If you want the factory maps to display in the cluster, you need AlfaOBD, and your radio has to be a 12” or 8.4” with nav.

Greetings,

So mine has the 12" already, with NAV. Also i think i have what you are describing on the left hand side. The steering looks like this...

so probably just cluster, and adapter harness? What would i need the AlfaOBD for? I only ask because mine has the half digital cluster in it, so it must know how to move around in a digital enviroment already.

That’s strange that the non digital cluster equipped left wheel switch has the pages button on yours. This is a 2023 Laramie with the non digital:

But, if yours has it, that’s one less thing you need.
AlfaOBD would be needed for the swap because there’s a setting in the BCM that tells the radio to use the Ethernet block to send the maps to the cluster.

Greetings,

I took a stock photo, not sure exactly on mine, saw a laramie and just took a pick cause it looked close to. Might need that switch too.

Will head out in a minute and check. Think your picture is more correct with mine.

Hopefully you get it all finished and can provide a parts list, ie numbers.

Yeah, the one you posted is a rendering of a 1500 wheel…that only has the left paddle shifter.

LOL, that will teach me to just grab a pic off the internet.....

will just sit back here and watch for awhile....haha
