2024 Ram HD Order Guides

Any idea if Android auto will be fill screen on the 24s?
Crate, earlier today I test drove a '24 2500 4x4 diesel that had the 12" display.
Unfortunately, the android auto still seems to only use the top half of the display. Of course with all the customizations you can do to the display, I wasn't able to play with it (as much as I would have liked) in the ~30-40 minutes I drove it.
I'm not sure if this limitation is on the part of Google, Ram, or some kind of combination of both.
I also would like to know where the determination lies in what apps from the phone get shown in android auto.
I was really hoping that my weather app would display there. Particularly the radar. I happen to be doing the test drive as a thunderstorm was rolling in.

Question for the crowd.

Based on Ram's Build & Price site as of yesterday evening, it appears that the Power Wagon package is no longer available on 2024 Tradesman trim 2500s. This is different from the most recent order form that has been posted in this thread. Therefore, either the website is wrong or the order form is wrong.

Anybody have any idea which one it is?

It looks like the wood steering wheel is back based on this option list.

Seen a video on YouTube by JBReviews, and he had a 2024 Limited on the lot he reviewed. Didn’t have the wood on the steering wheel……bummer. Did that large wood part of the wheel heat up when you turned the steering wheel heater on?

I guess when they say wood on 2024 wheel they mean the little accent pieces.
On all my previous Longhorns the entire steering wheel heated up including the wood from 10-2 o’clock.

The only wood is the small inside insert at the bottom of the wheel.

I noticed that too .. also noticed that if you search the country for 2024 Tradesman PW there were only 2 built in the entire USA so far and both are IN TRANSIT to the same dealer in TUSCON. There are currently 7 2023 Tradesman Power Wagons on Dealer lots .. They built at least 8 of them in 2023 since I have one of them .. lol. I do believe that the PW package was available when they first put up the 2024 builder. I also know that the build site is not 100% accurate .. for example .. in 2023 the 7" Cluster was available on the Tradesman .. however it was never shown on the build site for 2023. Unless a buyer knew about the order guide .. they would never know they could order the 7" cluster. The do show the 7" cluster for 2024 though ..

Interesting .. I know for a fact the 7" EVIC was available as a stand alone option on the 2024 Tradesman build site .. it is now gone .. so RAM is definitely removing options from the Build Site it seems.

I frequent a high engagement Jeep Wrangler forum and the consensus there is that the online Build & Price tool is notoriously imprecise regarding accuracy of currently available vehicle build packages and options. Jeep’s build site is identical to Ram’s, attributable to shared Stellantis parent. Obviously Ram and Jeep are separate subsidiaries.

All that said. I think only way to know for sure what is currently happening with Ram is to obtain their most current order form.
