Can I disable Tire Fill Alert and keep Selectable Tire Fill Alert?

I discovered today that TFA takes over when the dash pressure reads low, but I’d rather use SFTA.

Also, is there anyway to reenable the fuel economy app that was there the day I bought the truck, and then disappeared.

Sadly no. SFTA is pretty dumb, because it won't let you set pressures above the fill pressure your truck is set for (or you set in AlfaOBD), and won't stop TPMS from alerting based on that fill pressure.

Well that’s a bummer, but I can work around that.

I like SFTA and it’s working much better with the latest radio software.

I like the idea of it, I just don't like the two issues I mentioned above.

I forgot to add, I did find a work around to it not letting you set the threshold higher. If you have your TPMS pressure set high in AlfaOBD, then save a preset in STFA at that higher pressure you want, then lower the TPMS threshold in AlfaOBD it will leave the preset alone and you can use it later.

the SFTA with TPMS on 2500 must work differently than with the TPIS on 3500. I can set my tire pressure presets to whatever I want. My only gripe is having to go into the setting every time I want to use it to turn in “on” in the menu.

Yesterday I was using SFTA on dads 3500. It had a low psi alert (I was testing the TPMS) and even thou the SFTA was set for 70 (TPMS for 55) it sounded the horn at 55 and then the triple sound for too ouch pressure at 58.

It’s a shame that Ram didn’t set up the TPMS, so it has two set points that it could be toggled between the two. Then set one point for max load and the other for light to no loads.

That used to be a thing years ago. They took it away. I expect people got too confused by it.
