I have a 2021 Ram 4500 4x4 work truck, that I purchase new 6/21, really have had no problems at all with the truck.
We do not use the truck every day so it may sit for a couple of weeks till it is needed again.
On 7/19/23 after being parked for a couple of weeks, when cranked it gave the message "Power Steering Unavailable Service Required."
(Basically, it was fine when parked, and broke after being sitting for two weeks)
Steering was hard seemed to have about 1/2 normal power steering. We checked the normal things fluid, belt etc, and everything appeared fine.
Had to take it to a commercial dealership about 40 miles away and drove it there for service.
Dealership determined bad "Steering Gear" and a big $ ouch for the repair!

Of course, warranty stopped at 36K on the steering box, truck only has 40800 miles on it, still has the original factory tires with 6/32 tread.
I'm kind of torn about this issue, hey you mean I worn out a steering box before I worn out the 1st set of factory tires!
I would be interested in any feedback!
