Self Driving Autopilot(comma.ai)

I personally don’t think so. I have safelite glass and can’t really tell any difference.
Hopefully he chimes back in with whether or not his factory ACC and LKAS works. I was kind of leading to a possible issue with the forward camera alignment after the replacement. In the adding ACC thread, the alignment procedure with wiTECH seems to break everything recently.
Definitely tell them not to attempt to run the alignment after they replace the windshield, especially since there’s no reason to.

Is this an "if it ain't broke" issue? I take it the DASM once setup/aligned with the truck, will stay/auto align?

Pretty much. As long as they don’t purposely mess with the adjustment screw on the camera itself (no reason for them to do that), then they’re just unbolting it from one windshield, and bolting it right back on another windshield.

Two questions for those using this on the 2500..

-Will the truck "hold" at a stop? or is that a 1500 only thing, with the electronic parking brake?
-Do OBD port splitters exist? My AMP steps plug in to my OBD port... looks like the comma also uses the OBD port?

This looks really exciting!

Splitters do exist, and comma does use the OBD port, but only for constant power so it doesn’t go through a full boot on each startup. I just used my own Ethernet cable and grabbed constant power at the bottom of the driver side A-pillar.
Comma has no effect on adaptive cruise control, so that will still function like it always has- only holds a stop for a couple seconds.

Right on - these are the answers I was looking for :)

If you completely remove comma, and plug the DASM in like factory, do you have functional LKAS and adaptive cruise?
Who did the windshield replacement, dealership or glass company?
Yes when I put everything back to factory my ACC works and I guess I haven't tried my LKAS (lane sense?) at factory setting.

It was replaced by a body/shop glass company.

I live in a rural area with two options for windshield repair. Both have worked on same model/year (2019 Ram Lamrime 5.7hemi) and said they have never had to re-calibrate ACC or LKAS.

I have recently fixed my C2 on my 3500 Cummins Laramie 2020 model but eventually half of the comma screen is the truck’s bonnet, is that really okay ? Although it’s functioning quite good I can say.
still need a custom or programming other than the normal OP one, any recommendations where and how to get hold of it and/ or upload it to the device as im really Confused and don’t know how to do so.

appreciate the help guys

what harness should I buy for a c3 to install on a 2022 2500 PW? or make my own?
