2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Thank you @pacnw1963 I like the color better than my last one in my profile pic. This Delmonico Red looks rich and luxurious to me. She is not meant to be driveway queen but she's really only going to be used for pulling my 5th wheel.
I loved the Delmonico red and the granite…and really came close to ordering one, but ended up ordering the only color I’ve ever owned…bright white. Same here, 2nd retirement in October and dragging our 5er all over this beautiful country. First trip is the Olympic Peninsula to get settled in to our new house and then away we go!

It’s good to see y’all’s trucks finally showing up or at least getting shipped since many of you’ve been waiting a long time.

My saga continues, truck finally shipped 5/13 but it now seems to be lost. The dealer can’t find it or get any info except that it is or was in Midlothian Texas. @brv10 showed me that it seems to have gone through Kansas City at some point. The rail car it was supposedly on was unloaded in Spokane last week and it wasn’t on there. So maybe it never did go through Kansas City.

It’s eventually supposed to end up in Laurel, MT but I’m losing hope. I’m fairly confident it’s in the US somewhere. I have it narrowed down to likely west of the Mississippi, but not further west than California. South of Canada and north of Mexico (hopefully).

The days are getting shorter and the camping season is slipping away.

I don't have my new truck yet. I just wanted to give a shout out to @AnthonyRI at Mark Dodge. the day after my truck hit the dealer lot, I was on a Zoom call for about 20 minutes to review the paperwork where the finance department tries to upsell various products just like every other dealer does. Melinda the finance lady did a great job and tried hard to sell me the 6yr 60k warranty for a little over 2k but I stuck to my plan and didn't give in to her sales pitch. She remained very nice and within about a total of an hour of my time everything was signed all around and now I just need to fly down and pick it up next week. For a savings of well over 13K over anything i could get in my area, I'll gladly fly down and drive it back to Washington. Fun things retired people get to do.View attachment 59082
Thanks for the kind words it's been a pleasure working with you!

Brother, that has got to be so frustrating! You should be that person I gladly step aside for since you were waiting much longer than I. I've been so happy with my last Dodge Ram that I can't wait to get my new Ram as I'm sure you are also. I hope your new truck will override the frustration with amazing good times on the road for many adventures to come your way. I feel bad for you and wish I could help in some way.

No worries, in the big picture these are first world problems. I’m thankful that the family is healthy and we’re in a position to buy a truck like this. We are blessed and it’ll all work out in the end.

Very well spoken, we all get tired of the bs that goes along with everything we do but in the end we should all be grateful that we are having common problems that go along with ordering +/-80k trucks, I’m very thankful I’m here talking about it because if any of you knew backstory of where I was a year ago it’s a miracle I’m on here waiting for a truck that I thought I would never have the chance to buy!!

Good grief…good news is you have it narrowed down to 2,648,261 square miles. It’s not like they lost an amazon package…its a huge truck!

Hang in there brother…when you finally get to sit down in it, it will have been well worth the wait!

So when the truck ships via train how do some people know what train its on. I heard of some people being able to find out when the train is arriving or trackjng the train itself.?

Call your dealer and get your carrier and car number, then follow the instructions on the link below. Speak like a robot with no inflection or emotion (think cyborg) when you are saying the info or it will go cat-e-whompus on you.

Finally went to pick it up today. The estimate delivery went from July 26 until July 13 and then to July 3rd all in 2 weeks. She is a beauty and worth the weight.
Damn that looks good!!!

I purchased the same color in a LTD. My wife got to choose the interior and wanted the Indigo Frost. The interior scares me to death, but that ship sailed 10 months ago.

Yea my delaership wont really want to be bothered with that. it was like pulling teeth just to get an update. i will just keep waiting and hope for the best

My order was submitted 10/20, and the truck build was completed 5/26, waiting on a train.
Estimated delivery date is 7/27, is there any validity to the est. delivery date, or just a random number thrown out?
It'd be nice to have the truck by August, as I have a paid trip to haul two vintage cars to the east coast, and two to bring back to Ca. for the return trip. If not, my 2003 2500 will have to get the job done.

There is no validity to the estimated delivery date in my opinion. My estimated deliver date was in April and I’m still waiting.

I've noticed that on many orders, yet others come in far ahead of schedule. Definitely no pattern or seeming rhyme or reason to the process.
