To clarify, nothing ever voids your warranty per the Magnusun Moss Act. The issue is fighting the dealership over it, and I guarantee Ram is willing to spend more money on law suits than the average consumer is.<br />

If you have an engine related issue they will try to deny the claim, and pointing it the aftermarket intake is easy. It’s then your responsibility to fight them over it. They don’t have to prove it wasn’t caused by the modification until you pony up enough money to see them in court, which will likely be more expensive than just paying for the fix out of pocket. Even then they will likely generate a very good argument.<br />

At the end of the day it absolutely doesn’t void any warranty, but it may cost you excessively to prove that. Is that worth it?<br />

I’m highly interested in the Banks intake, but not until after my warranty expires. To me, it’s not worth the potential fight… even if the mod greatly reduces the risk of failure.</div>
