2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Seeing Lex from ram cares on here does make things look better it’s good to see somebody is paying attention and trying to look into things and do their job and even though I haven’t had to deal with crazy wait that a lot of you guys have it’s still a possibility it may happen in to me this time even though I hope not!

I'm glad to see they are reading that thread too, but the post of mine he responded to was from close to 3 weeks ago. And I'm not even in the worst situation as some people here.

That all said it's irrelevant for me - I just signed a deal for a 2022 that was built at the end of December. Should have it in a couple weeks.

Congrats, I guess. BTW did you get dual tanks? that would be nice if you did.

Feels good to be able to move ahead after 11 months of truck shopping and waiting. I did not, this truck just has the rear 52. Why anyone orders just the rear tank is beyond my comprehension unless there's some upfit equipment that needs to go there. I don't know what the original plan was for this truck, but it has PTO prep so who knows.

Anyway, we've already started figuring out what's needed to add the midship tank over in the mods forum, and since I have to add it anyway I can go with an aftermarket 50 gallon tank and end up with 102 gallons.

What are you going to do with the truck?

This, except I'll be able to put vehicles in the trailer (I only ever towed the trailer home from the factory empty with the 3500, far too heavy if it was loaded):

Going to be building a Sherptek inspired bed and storage setup to match the camper.
Wow! That looks fun.

Seeing somebody from “Ram Cares” make a comment brings two thoughts to mind for me: First, if it’s true, I’m glad someone from Ram is actually reading this, but, second, I’m kind of pissed that somebody representing the company would read all of these comments and not expend one iota of energy to resolve any of the issues brought up here.

It is. :D And the 3500 actually towed it perfectly (when empty), although I was too much for me to be comfortable with long term.

Can't wait to get back to Moab.
Curious how the Lance fits and looks on a flatbed truck.

My goal is something like this Sherptek bed, although I have my own ideas for a slightly different take.

That is really sharp looking! I seriously considered something like this, but opted for a 34'11" Brinkley 5th wheel. My solution leaves room for two adults, two large dogs and the occasional adult kid during the rainy days. Your solution is perfect for mobility.

It really works great - we geocache, and the ability to pull a U turn in someone's driveway because "oops we passed the cache" is fantastic. And now we'll be able to tow our two vehicle trailer as well with the new rig when we want to.

Next phase of this plan once we get the bed built will be to upgrade to one of those beautiful Host campers as well..

Hello,

My question what does Ram Cares really care about? There are a lot of folks on this list who have been waiting A LONG TIME. For me it has been 120 days my truck has been “STUCK” at the factory since ”Built”.. My queries to Ram Cares have only resulted in ‘we will open a case and get back to you within three business days’ I have NEVER heard from anyone ( I’ve done this three times).

Please put some effort into helping Everyone on this list get some answers as to when we will get our trucks, and if possible explain why it has taken so long to get them.
Hi there,

If you have a case number available, please send us a private message and we would be happy to look into it for you. Please keep in mind, there are many factors that come into play when building and shipping a vehicle. Our team can look into and provide updates on vehicle orders, but timelines and ETA's are always subject to change.

First, congrats!
When I order my 5500, the additional midship 22 was an item that was stalling orders supposedly, so I decided to not.

Def jumping over to that other thread, have been looking at options to add it. This is perfect!

That makes a whole lot of sense. While most posts would not provide much data for intelligence and research purposes, some would provide good insights. I had wondered about this in the past as I read through posts. I have nothing to hide, but I am curious about why you chose to come out from under cover and honestly say these forums are monitored. One conclusion is that there is a recognized need to fix some of the damages related to the recall, hail storm and transportation issues. I would agree. I ordered my RAM 3500 on 9/13/2022 and it completed its build 2/25/2023. If the stars align, it may be loaded on a train on 6/21/2023. It's too late for my 30 day RV trip to the Utah National Parks and too late for my planned MN trip. I had to pay someone to deliver my new RV to storage. Acts of God are hard to predict and control. Since orders are being taken for 2024s, I'd like RAM to give those of us who have waited so long some breaks on incentive dollars and interest rates. My two to five cents (inflation and all).

@OfficerDirtySanchez I placed an order for a '24 on Tuesday. You want that on your sheet? I heard someone else say they might start a 24 specific sheet, but with all the outstanding 23s, I wonder if it might be better to have them all in one place.

Tru Dat! They pop up out of no where and ask for information on only one person who is in the same boat as anyone else here, and then nothing but crickets…chirp, chirp!
