Are there any Aftermarket air filters out there yet for the 6.7 diesel?

I just installed an AFE filter. Now I have cel on. Shows "no stored message" in message center. Going to check it with code reader at work tomorrow.

So I haven't seen anybody mention in this thread yet, unless i flew by it. On those big high performance air filtration cone filter systems, how much hp and tq do they add. Ive even seen them at the dealership as a display in the parts area. Don't know if there actually worth the $400. I sure they help in power, because it's Getting more air, but like some have said, to what detriment and is there a noticeable difference.

Can anybody post a link to a " MOPAR only " cold air intake system for the new 4.5 generation, " ie19&20" 6.7 3500 Cummins. I can't seam to find any mopar versions. There all for the older - 18 models or the hemi gassers.

See post #8 and watch the project farm vids on air filters. The high flow filters are just going to reduce the useful life of the engine and provide little to no benefit.

The only thing an AFE did on my 5.9L besides drain my wallet was maybe lower the EGT's about 50F. I was looking for additive benefits and only achieved a marginal improvemtn with the AFE, Pusher Intake, and BD 2-piece Exh manf. I suspect a 5" exhaust would have helped more and cost less. The exhaust manf had to get replaced regardless due to stock failure.

Almost didn't notice yah with the new id tag, looks good, bought time. Thats kind of what i figured, that the gain was minimal vs the shortened longevity of the engine. Even though neither is significant , reward is not drastically greater than the risk, letting dirtier air in than what would other wise pass through is never a good thing when its your personnel vehicle. From what I can gather, if a person wants a quick noticeable difference that can't hurt anything or the longevity, just do that thing that you all talk about when I asked how to correct a dead pedal. I forget what it was called but was told it just took a few minutes to wire in, and it was instant feeling of power when you dropped the pedal. That to me sounds like the biggest bang for the buck. You might not actually gain hp or tq, but it sure feals like it, so I'm told. I am a bit surprised that ram does sell the cold air intake system if it's known to shorten the length of the motor. Or maybe what I saw was for gassers not nox burners, not sure.

Gasser or diesel doesn’t matter. Both use the newer ram air intake system. My truck definitely pulls much more debris into the air box than the older style intake. I would not reduce filtration. I am not getting full life out of factory filter before performance drops off. At 17K miles I will be changing for the 3rd time.

When i look up online, ( I'm a mopar only guy) there's a ton of different systems. Most 2018 and older or the hemi version. Have not seen one advertised for the diesel brothers anywhere, unless I'm missing it. But all in all your not going to gain anything with a good filtration system, unless you get a filter that lets particles through so it gets more air, though it be dirty. From what I've read it only gain of 5-15 hp max. So the only plus would be if you bought a good filter, ( and why wouldn't you if you cared about your power train longevity) that on the new box it points the filter away from engine thus creating a cooler air draw wich makes things run happier when temps go down. So gain would more than likely be very minimal. I wish ram would just give us a mod for the dead pedal like what everyone was talking about. That would create the feeling of more go go gadget billet bee and i would be ecstatic with that. I just wan't there blessing, before i add anything whether it be quote on quote legit or not, my rig, my problem. Now if it was the company's truck, id be throwing caution to the wind and letting her eat.

By what measure does performance fall off? I live in a dusty environment(AZ), and share a caliche dirt lane with my neighbors. I cleaned out my airbox at 13-14K miles, brushed loose debris off filter, and it will easily go 30K. These filters can hold a massive quantity of dirt, and still flow well. I'd bet it they still had an air restriction indicator on the inlet it wouldn't be pulled down.
