I am installing a 3.25 backcountry kit on a 2023 3500. In the past I have run the Blistien dual stabilizer but I got a lot of corrosion on the body’s. I would like to run the Fox ATS but CJC says they it hit the Carli track bar. BDS says their dual stabilizers will only work with 4” lift??

For those of you running the Carli 3.25 on a 2019 and above..what are you using.

Running a Thuren King stabilizer on a 22 2500 3.25 Commuter kit. Does not hit the Carli track bar with or without the relocation
bracket that comes with the kit for the axle side, I did choose to use the bracket.

I thought about using the King but my concern is that I spend winters in snow/ salt covered roads and these could be affected by the salt.

First off, what is wrong with your stock one? I have 150K on mine with a level and 35's and it's still working just fine.

Second, be careful choosing a aftermarket stabilizer, many of those "charged" style are meant to correct for a left(?) pull and may create pull if your truck currently drives straight

That's a good thought, I wish I would of saved my stock stabilizer to diagnose a mild right pull after reading your post. Truck aligned to Thuren specs, don't know if alignment needs to be tweaked or the 37's are creating the pull.

you should be setting at zero toe, zero cross caster. was actual caster adjusted during alignment? if you are running stock radius arms, the eccentrics will be maxed out.

I agree on the nitrogen charged one like the Carli stabilizers. I don't wont to deal with that plus there is not really anyone near me that can add nitrogen if it is needed.

I am going to run 37' and a lot of my driving is at highway speeds 70+ mph. While the stock may be fine just like the stock shocks are fine I think stabilizers like Bilstein/fox most likely would perform better but I could be wrong. Like you I have tons of milage with oversized tires but have always changed out the stabilizer so I can't say for sure if they are better or not but in the grand scheme of things between the wheels, tires, suspension lift....it is relatively short money to get piece of mind..

I went with the King/Thuren OEM fit on mine.

Compliments the Thuren leveling kit w/adjustable trackbar quite well. I had a Fabtech dual steering stabilizer set up on my '15 2500 Megacab (6"lift w/37s) and it seemed to work good as well. My new truck is leveled, and rides way better than my '15....

I'm not sure about caster adjustment after alignment, I know where I had it set per CJC recommendations so I could drive the truck
until I had it aligned. I am running stock radius arms with drop brackets that come in the 3.25 kits.

ah okay should be good with the drop brackets. I'd measure just to be sure. you may need to dial in another degree or two.

How do you like the 37s? I am getting my Carli lift (3.25 backcountry with add a pack and Carli sway bar) and 37 s installed next week. I just finished a 2500 mile road trip on my stock 2023 3500 Limited and was very impressed with how smooth it road, night and day over my 2014 3500 Longhorn. I am hoping to keep the same ride quality.

Absolutely love the look of the 37s, would of kicked myself everyday if I would of put 35's on. I have them aired down for some added comfort.

Great! Was there any trimming or rubbing, what are the specs of your rims? I am going with +20 offset on 20x9’s. I would have gone with +1s but I didn’t want to deal with and trimming of the pinch weld. I am looking forward to getting this pile of stuff installed

My truck is a 2500 so I don't know if that makes a difference. I am running the same exact specs for wheels and did not have to do any trimming.IMG_20230402_111314957_HDR.jpg

I only had to trim the the hump off the Husky front flaps, the part that goes over the fender liners covering the pinch weld to keep the flaps on and that was my only rub. I hope you have the same results.

That is almost my set up. I have changed to progressive leaf springs and long travel air bags. Ride much better. Also air down to 60 psi.

I don’t know if Ram changed anything suspension wise from a stock 2014 3500 to now but I feel like my 2014 when it was stock was taller and rode firmer then my stock 2023 with the same heavy duty snow plow prep group. I went over a few speed bumps at a slow speed and I swear I could feel the front suspension bottom out.

So I figured I would post an update with my feedback. Here is the deal

Carli backcountry 3.25 lift, track bar, sway bar, add a pack, running 37x12.5x20 on 20x9 +20 offset

I ran this configuration with the stock stabilizer and the Tharen King.

With the stock - I never had any problems with the stock stabilize, put about 150 miles it with the setup above with no issues.

King - It makes the steering seem tighter/ firmer, at slow speeds it seems to push slightly to the right but not a lot. Not to the point it bothers me. At highway speeds I don’t notice any pushing at all.

Summery. I think I need to put more miles on the King but at this point my assessment is that had I not already bought the King I would be more then happy with the stock stabilizer.
