Strange sound when turning off engine

Starting about a month ago, when I turn off the engine there's about a 1 second noise that sounds like dragging a chair across a metal floor - and it sounds like coming from the speakers. Never did before, but now every time I shut down.

I'll try to get an audio recording of this and post it.

Any ideas? Do the front grille baffles close when turning of the engine, with a possible problem in that system? Could a speaker be failing when powering off? There are no speaker/sound issues when the radio/music is on.

Thanks.

Here's a Youtube link with audio of the sound when I turn off the engine. Turn up your speaker volume. The truck has 20,000 miles and just updated to version 1.60.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a glitch in the audio canceling in the radio. Try holding down both radio knobs for ten seconds to reboot the radio or disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for 10 minutes. A good reset might fix it.

I reset/rebooted the radio a couple days ago and so far so good. Fingers crossed!
