What did you do TO your RAM today?

Was time to do an oil change and all the filters.

I do everything on a 10k interval and my fuel filters were nasty... some water too and I always go to high volume stations

Perhaps you already know this, but be sure not to run your tank low often if possible, heat will create more asphaltenes in the fuel and that's the result. They shouldn't look like that in 10K.

Swapped the banks CAI for the S&B, still running a dry filter with a wrap. No more EGR warnings on the dash or CELs and honestly a higher quality product for a better price. Still happy with the Monster Ram and Boost Tubes, but their airbox is just meh IMO.

If there was a good way to run a pre-screen on the stock air box that was easy to clean, I'd have kept the stock intake. Out where I spend a good chunk of time there is a ton of larger debris that likes to get into the pleats so it's either change filters like socks or run something that has a wrap on it.

Did my first oil change at 5000 miles. Put a Fumoto valve on the oil pan since I had one sitting around meant for a Jeep that I no longer have.
The filter was on so tight I'm glad I had one of these Motivx filter wrenches. Especially hate the location and the way it drains.

The oil was pretty filthy. Lots of idling in traffic here.

I like my Fumoto drain valve for the most part. It does take twice as long though to drain the oil, but with a hose into the drain pan you can walk away and do something else for the time being. Also, what is that oil filter drain deflector?? Did it help with the mess?

The deflector is a product by Ares (part number 56027). It’s a pliable funnel that comes in a few different sizes. It helped quite a bit but I still got it everywhere initially because I removed the filter way too fast.

Did my first oil and fuel filter change at 14k. Front filter was pretty clean (IMO) but rear was dark. Reading @Brutal_HO’s comment above about asphaltenes, I’ll fill up around half tank more often. Maybe 1 out of 5 tanks would I get around 1/4 full. Usually only when towing.
I had forgotten how nasty diesel oil is.

First addition. Added bulletpoint mount but wanted magsafe compatible and wireless charging and arm that articulates. Needed the 20mm to 17mm ball adaptor to go from arm to charger. bought the folllowing.

So far no more EGR codes which I'll take as a win. I'll be taking the family up to Austin later in the week so I'll get some highway time on it for a real confirmation. Seems to perform about the same as the banks box without all the noise since I am running it plug in. The seal into the ram air is well actually a seal so I'll be interested to see if that does anything on the toll roads where its 85MPH. All in all I'm happy with the box and should've just gone with it over the banks box in the 1st place.

I've had this same mount for about a year now and for the most part it's pretty great. If you haven't done so already, you can put thin/flat strips of felt or foam tape along the bottom of the mount that meets the surface. I had a rattle that drove me nuts until I did that.

Edit - I see that they include some sort of strip now. Back when I purchased a set it wasn't included. Should help a ton.

That's awesome. Can't wait to hear. I want to increase airflow but the Banks and EGR codes drove me nuts! Plus the fitment was pretty weak on the Banks

I challenged Turbo Time to make a 'Stage 3' VGT which they don't offer and have not done for 4.5 gens yet. End result is a 66.9mm turbo that drops in the factory location and keeps my exhaust brake. Should be capable of 800hp so pretty pumped! They sent me some finished results pictures and it will be shipped shortly. I get to be the beta tester lol.

Nice! I've been looking around for turbo options since there were only 2 options available (SB and Fleece). Are they offering a manifold with that setup? I think the stock manifold is the bottleneck. Emissions compliant or deleted?
