Blind Spot Monitoring missing

Got screwed. New 22 2500 Laramie L2 Sport 4x4 6.4 . No Blind spot Monitoring
Sticker 76k . Came with Surround Cameras / leather heated cooled seats . But no blind spot monitoring. Took a minute to notice that it wasn’t there. I’m in rural NC. Thought possibly a setting issue, but alas salesman said chip issues were to blame . No cost add or delete for this feature. But no mention of It during my purchase process. Seems to be great truck so far . Glad it’s big so when changing lanes unseen vehicles will hopefully make way.

It was an option to order on my ‘22 but I opted not to. I didn’t see the need with the tow mirrors.

BSM was not ever standard on the ‘22 Laramie trucks.

What packages were ordered? Is it missing or was it not ordered?

BSM came with my 2021 Big Horn. I believe I got in just before the "shortage". It's an alright feature, but I don't rely on it. Too many years driving the old fashion way I guess.

There was at least 1, if not 2, packages that included BSM on the 21 Big Horns… but I don’t think that lasted all year.

Yes, it was part of Laramie Level 1 or 2, or as a stand alone package.

Laramie A and B were the same as 1 and 2, respectively, but BSM was not standard.

So far Loving the truck. Like the 6.4 . I Had a 2012 Dually SLT Diesel a few years ago. Wish I didn’t sell it. It was the last of the no DEF . But after having my new ram a couple weeks now I finding. It pulls my trailers fine. It’s got a nice interior . Feels stout . I like the way it drives. Thinking I’d like different tires and spray in bed liner. Getting some likes from people. I think I Got a pretty good deal on purchase. 1 model year old new truck. 9k off sticker. Hopefully a keeper for many years to come.
