Anyone have any suggestions for a good quality Roadside Emergency Kit with air compressor? I know Mopar sells the DOT kit but doesn't have a portable air compressor. I'm looking at a couple that look decent like ones from Bridgestone and EVERLIT.

I built me own long ago. Warning triangles, bottle jack, air compressor, jumper cables etc. It was less expensive to purchase the bits than was the case for some of the kits on the market.

I think I'll have to do the same to get what I really need.

Out of curiosity, what did you settle on for an air compressor? Been researching these things, hard to decide.

I can’t speak for Burn, but I hard mounted two Masterflow MF50s to the frame and wired them to an aux switch. They (along with a mounted tank) will be used for filling tires, powering an air horn, and minor emergency air tool use.

That said, I used the MF50s because I had them from my Jeep. If I were buying new I’d go with a Viair 400P. They’re a good quality that you can trust is going to work when you need them.

I've had many and many are junk. This MotoMaster thing (12V/100 PSI) I've had for over 10 yrs. It's been dropped, kicked around, froze solid etc and just will not quit. Perhaps that's why they stopped making it. It'll inflate a 20-inch truck tire from flat to 50 or 60 PSI in 5 to10 min.
