I have a 2023 Limited with all the options. My question is where is the best place to put the “Easy Pass” transponder.
My concern is I don’t want it interfering with anything that is built into the Large Rear View mirror pod, like adaptive cruise control….
attached is a picture with the location circle in red where I would like to place the responder. Anyone in the know have feedback.

disgrad the current location sitting on the dash

On my '20 Laramie it is mounted at the top of the windshield just right of the mirror. Has worked there perfectly so far, even in Florida with the Sunpass reader.

Ditto...that's where I have put mine since they introduced EZ-Pass back in the late '90's. It's out of the way and it has worked flawlessly.

Not exactly a mounting location for you, but I have EZ Pass and I Pass and I frequently forget them in the center console, has never failed to be read at a tollway though. Seems like the scanners are pretty strong.

I leave mine sitting in the tray on top of the dash and have never had a problem.

EZ-Pass and PikePass on each side of the mirror. Sun Pass wrapped in aluminum foil in glovebox.

So yeah, I have been using them since day one. The difference here is all the equipment that is under the rearview mirror, things like sensers for the adaptive cruise control and others. On mine as others there are vents on each side and on the bottom. I am not sure what they are for but I don't want to block them so I am looking for alternate places to mount the transponder.

I keep it in the overhead sunglass holder until I need it, then drop it on the dash as I pass the readers.

Sorry to jump off topic but … nice trailer! Livin Light?

I leave mine in the console and when needed just lay it on the dash driver-side edge against the windshield

I have mine mounted to the glass down low almost exactly where yours is

I keep mine(fast track, same thing different state)in the center console, and pull it out when needed. If it doesn't read or i forget, oh well it's linked to my license plate and they can still charge me.

I have to admit that your windshield set up is a lot more intense than mine, You would think that if the placement of the payment transponders could create problems with it a warning would be included in the owner's manual.
