Post Pics of your 2019+ 2500 or 3500!

You will pull just fine. I pulled a 34 footer then a 40 footer with mine.

yeah but I only have the 6.4 with 3.73."

I pulled with a lesser 94 360 magnum and was fine, you'll do OK with that HEMI. ;)

You bought a great truck that’ll tow heavy. I’ve only towed with my 6.4 Hemi twice for about 300 miles round trip and it did fine. We towed our old trailer that weighed 6500 lbs down to trade in and towed our new 37 foot travel trailer that weighs 9100 lbs home. No issues it did great. I towed down and back on I-95 in Virginia, not for the faint of heart. All the construction zones, poor roadway/surface conditions and traffic to include a bunch of 18 wheelers and I didn’t feel the truck struggle. As a basis for comparison I previously had a diesel 2500. They are different but so far I like the Hemi. I’m betting you’ll be happy with it.
That’s great to hear! Thank you! I previously have a 17 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 and 3.92. I pulled a 30’ camper from Duluth MN to Key west and back last year. The sway control kicked in a few times and overall it wasn’t comfortable to drive, especially around semis. I’m looking forward to a more relaxing pull!

Your new truck has also has factory OEM sway control. If you’ve towed you know but I thought it’s worth mentioning in case you haven’t used one, a sway control/weight distribution hitch is a good investment in safety and helps the truck perform.

I also towed my old 6500 lb trailer with a 2019 1500 Longhorn. The 2500 does a MUCH better job. That HD chassis will perform as designed when you put a load on it.

The OEM's sway control is a help to recover when trailer start to sway. But in no case will it prevent it from happening.

Compared to your 1500, sway will be more attenuated with the 2500 as the truck is heavier. It might be enough to get all of it away. If not, a sway control hitch will be required.

A 30' trailer with a 1500 is not a good idea, but you cut your teeth on the 1500, the 2500 will seem like your troubles have disappeared. BUT the 2500 with the 30' trailer should have a distribution hitch as well, even a DRW 3500 might need a DH.

Yes it could sound that way, but it was mostly the clutch fan that made it seem noisier.

Got the N-Fab hoop steps, Access Cover, and 285/65/20 Cooper AT3 XLT’s on. Really like how that extra inch of tire fills in the wheel well.

How well do the Bedrugs hold up over time? Do they collect a lot of dirt and debris and look dirty? Easy to clean? Sorry so many questions, but I’m really leaning to getting one! Thanks in advance!

I had one on my first Tundra and liked it, but it was under a tonneau cover. You just vacuum it clean. You wouldn't want to dump gravel in it as it would take a year to clean. Might be worth it for the bed sidewall protection, but $400 is a lot of money for carpet. There was zero dollars resale on it in a trade. It probably lowered my trade because they had to remove all that Velcro. On my second Tundra I bought just the tailgate cover and bought a rubber bed mat for the bed. It really makes climbing on the tailgate more comfortable on the knees. It is also nice to just sit down on. The problem with the 2500 is that it is so high, I can't just plop my butt on the tailgate without climbing up on it. I'm probably not going to get one for the RAM but I may change my mind on the tailgate mat. I have a spray in liner and that is really nice.

How do you like those steps? They look great. Do they make it an easier to climb in and out? I have the factory running boards and they are no fun to get in and out with. I assume those are the N-Fab® - 3" Round Nerf Steps?

So far so good and much easier to get in. I did not have factory boards
