2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Just heard from MD that my truck is on the way to the dealership, but tracker does not show shipped...Hopefully its at the dealership soon! Have you heard from anyone from MD? Maybe yours is on the same train as mine.

That's awesome, shouldn't be long now. It's 6 days to Port Allen, then the truck ride to MD, generally it can take up to 2 weeks, sometimes shorter. Last year my '22 took 10 days.

I know for sure mine is still JB, and when I went to bed last night the tracker still showed a delivery date of today. Someone last night must have realized the error in their ways, and now it reads TBD.

Gotta love it!

I red a report by Cox Automotive that shows inventories for Feb.
Chyrsler products and RAMs are showing very high inventories. One theory is that Stanlatis has been building very high cost units which people are not buying. Meanwhile, my 2023 RAM Big Horn, ordered Sept 28 sits in BG status.

Probably because the dealerships have trucks lined up in the lot that they can't sell because of the recall. My local dealership almost has no parking left in their truck lot, which was empty 3 months ago, and almost every one is a Cummins waiting on a relay.

I just checked tracker also and it's been pushed to 4/16. Idk how accurate that is though. I imagine they are waiting to get enough trucks to put on a carrier?
Just an FYI, mine did the same thing when it landed at Bayview. The final delivery date came back in to what it was posted, which in your case would be 4/3. Just trying to give you a little hope :)

I love how the Tracker leaves me ROFLMAO continuously. I know for a fact my truck is JB and has been for 41 days, and yet the wonderful tracker shows it being delivered tomorrow. Don't I wish!!! Good times... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Right there with ya. Mine finally went to built status on 2/27. Had been in JB about a month. Tracker showed an ETA of 3/20 until yesterday when it went to TBD. Still in Mexico waiting for rail car, KZLD.

Mine has been showing built since 2/8...but is currently JB

Mine went from 4/3 to 4/13 a while ago hopefully it reverts and we all depart Bayview

Hooray 12 days after scheduled I just went in production. ramtrucks tracker says it went in production yesterday the 20th., but it just updated 30 minutes ago to reflect that, so the tracker seems to be at least a day behind in updates.

So I have to admit, I am getting excited, my 3500 HO Limited arrived at it final train stop in Ayer MA at 09:30 today. Now it is a short ride from there to the dealer. Dealer says it is normally a 4 day turnaround to get it from the Ayer ramp to the dealer. I would be super happy if that was the case but am thinking mid next week. Once the truck went into schedule status things moved fast....

Congrats! I hope yours moves faster through this stage than mine. My truck has been sitting in a railyard lot waiting for a ride to the dealer for over 3 weeks now. Dealer says they have zero say over getting it pulled form there. Its soooooo close to being here. Mine shot through quickly too once it finally hit build status.

@pacnw1963 thank you for the information on typical transit times to MD, this is good. Hopefully the truck arrives at MD in 3 weeks + 2 or 3 days for PDI. Getting excited to get this truck!

IIRC, some have had their delivery change to TBD right before the trick arrived at the dealership. Hopefully this is the case in your situation.

Very appreciative of the tracking spreadsheet and all the comments on this thread. It’s much easier to tolerate the wait when you know there’s progress. In the end it won’t change the delivery date but sure makes the time seem to go by more quickly. BTW, my 2500 is now in KZ status.

So idk if your dealer is lying to you or mine because my dealer said once it gets to the yard they can make a phone call and get it put on a truck almost right away. If my truck ever ships I’ll have to let you know how it works out haha

How did you get the discount code? All they provide is the link to the tread likely site.
When you join the club you get an email with a code to use for the TL discount. The code was outdated but they also provide a contact email. That reply came in under an hour with a working code

My dealer said that I should be able to take delivery on sat...bitter sweet because once I take delivery I don't know what I will do with the time i have spend tracking my new order...;:

Are you tracking the railcar info yourself or depending on the dealer info...for what it is worth I had better info tracking the railcar status then the dealer...I would track it your self..plus it is fun..

Happy to see a lot more green on the spreadsheet these days! I remember back when it was all white for the longest time!

I posted a while back in this thread about financing since I'm an independent dealer and deal with financing all the time. Figured I'd mention some updated news on financing that I've seen in the last couple weeks for those of you still waiting on your truck to be built or arrive:

- Some credit unions that I deal with switched to tiered lending with slightly better rates (between 0.25-0.75% lower than before) for upper prime (760+ Equifax) and mid prime (690+ Equifax) customers. For some of these credit unions these changes took effect in the last 2 weeks. The rest of the credit unions on our portfolio will be following suit in the first week of the second quarter (around April 1st). While every region's credit unions are different, a lot are the same and will likely be doing the exact same in your area of the country.

- As for the rates themselves, they're still higher than they were just a year or so ago because of the Fed's witchcraft and it's doubtful we'll ever see those low rates again. Friendly reminder that if your credit union itself or if the dealer gets you approved through a credit union, whatever rate they offer is the fixed rate. Dealers cannot bump interest rates on credit union approvals or the contract will not fund.

- If you're financing through your dealer and you get an approval through a regular bank (Capital 1, Truist, Chase, PNC, BoA, etc), the dealer has the ability to bump the rate so it may be negotiable with them. Almost always, rate bump allowance is only up to 2%. Meaning dealer buys it at 4.9% but sells it to you at 6.9% and the bank kicks the dealer back the 2% of amount financed as long as you make 3-6 payments (how many payments depends on the bank's finance agreement with the dealer). So the approval the salesman tries to sell you may be negotiable by up to 2%.

Just food for thought!
For those of you waiting on PW/Rebels - they're awesome trucks and well worth the wait!

@phatboy64 Are you able to share how you were able to track your truck on the rail car?

Thank you,
