2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

AND THE HITS JUST KEEP ON HITTING...UGH!

I just went to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website (https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls) and ran my VIN for my truck sitting at the outside vendor and --------------- wait for it --------------- it is affected by the latest heater grid relay recall! And according to the NHTSA recall, there is "...no remedy yet available."

I know....I saw mine was in there too but someone earlier said if it was built, then it would still goto the dealer? But they wouldn't release it until it was fixed. I guess I was just wishing it would ship and hopefully the dealer would have the part to fix it by the time it got there. Uuugh.

I was encouraged to hear you were built previously. Sorry to hear this. I was in production 1/23 also but now still show in production and JB with no window sticker.

Interesting as mine is suppose to hit the local rail yard today and await transportation to the dealer. My estimated delivery is Mar 1st. So we will continue to just wait and see as mine is also one of the recalled vehicles.

Same here.
Truck ws supposed to be delivered 2 days before the recall... now it's at the dealer (or at the train station) and I have to wait that they get the part and install it.
Probably 2 or 3 more weeks looking at Ram's ****show of a supply chain

Well I guess I’m finally catching a bit of a break on my order, my truck doesn’t seem to be affected by the new recall. Gotta take the small wins every chance you get haha. But it seems they have lost my truck seeing as it’s been built for almost 10 days and hasn’t been shipped yet lol.

Can I tell myself that ram doesn't finish the external vendor stuff too quick if they know the truck is going to just sit waiting on a rail car anyway? Asking for a friend whose truck left the assembly line two weeks ago.
Same boat, mine was in production 1 day after yours, my dealer says its at the vendor!

When I did a search for my VIN, it shows 0 unrepaired recalls. I don't know if this means it's already been addressed, or it's just not in the nhtsa database yet.

Wow, I found out it was built and recalled in the same day.

Any opinions on if those of us that ordered a HEMI might move up the production priority now due to the recall. Crossing fingers.

From what I'm seeing is the current trucks under production aren't affected by the recall

Recalls are no bueno, but better for them to find and fix the problem now, rather than later.
