Heated seats not staying on after power cycle and other oddities.

Hello,
I searched the forum for heated seats and most all posts are about vehicle packages.
I have a 2022 Ram 2500. I've had many oddities with this truck. If I listen to a pod cast, for the next 5 or so times I start it, the radio switches from whatever input I have selected (most often FM radio) to the podcast. I've had the key fob not detected error even though I hold the fob up in front of the steering wheel. I've had the truck bed doors lock, the horn sound, but the cab door remain unlocked. I've had the TPMS system go off line and not report any tire pressures. The dealer replaced the radio, but I think it is a BCM.
Since we have had -20 degree weather lately, my final frustration is that the heated seats and steering wheel always reset when I turn the vehicle off.
Is this normal behavior? Every other vehicle I've ever owned remembers the state of the heated seats and heated steering wheel on restart.

@dalet for the heated wheel/seat... in your Uconnect there's a comfort settings menu, change it to every start instead of remote starts.

To add.... It's still based on outside ambient temp which I believe must be below 32° freedom units, but as long as it's set to every start and it is cold enough it should turn them on automatically.

The other day when we got down to 11 degrees cold for SC when I started my truck the heated seat and steering wheel did not kick on. However, the next start after unloading the feed they came on as normal and have ever since.

What would cause them to not start onc?

Was the drivers mirror in the sun?

The truck has to think it’s below 40°F for the auto-comfort settings to work. I’ve seen the truck say over 40°F when it’s closer to 10°F thanks to the sun.

It’s normal. The only rigs I’ve driven where they stay in the previous setting is if they have a rotary knob. With the style button we have they all turn off with a power cycle.

Since they turn on via the touch screen, the computer should be able to keep the settings from one key cycle to the next.

It may have since it was facing in a way that would have allowed it to happen.

We have vehicles that stay on until you turn them off and ones that don't. There are pluses and minuses for each. I like having them reset to off at each shutdown, personally. But it would be nice to be able to set that threshold on the Ram to some custom setting.

I wonder how they came up with the list of settings that stick between restarts and the ones that don't. Like tow-haul resets but engine brake does not. Decisions by committee, I guess.

Did you set the memory seat/mirror setting while you had the radio set to the source for your podcast? If so, that is why, the new 'default' for that setting is exactly as you set it.

Have you checked all of your fuses? It has been a common issue that the fuses are not seated fully upon delivery which causes numerous glitches. May be worth popping the hood and making sure each and every fuse is seated properly.
