Remote camera part number

Placed an order for a 2023 Ram Laramie Oct. 26. Looking for the part number for the auxiliary camera to mount on my travel trailer. The truck was ordered with the prep kit. Dealer says they don't have a part number.

Which camera kit did you order?

The wired tow mode camera will come with the truck if you ordered that one.

No .... all order information states you must order the camera separate, however it does not give the part number. Mopar parts needs a good VIN to check part number and order. I have been given a VIN but I am told it is not yet a good number. Let me know if that info is incorrect.

Which camera prep kit did you order?

I know that my truck came with the camera for the wired tow-mode camera, as did dad's.

There is also the the wired trailer camera (uses the older poor quality analog camera) that doesn't come with a camera... hopefully not the one you ordered. All trucks with the 360° camera are pre-wired for this thou.

Interesting, I did not order the 360 package, I did order the towing Tech group AAN dealer told me it the truck is preped for the Auxiliary camera. I will be checking tomorrow. Thanks

Towing tech is the 360° camera, so the truck will be ready for either the trailer 360° camera or an analog camera. I’ve seen the part number for the analog camera, but the price is a bit higher than a reviews warrant. I’ll see if I can find the part number again, thou I won’t have time to look for a bit.
