Just got on the mopar owners site an they got a credit card im getting. Zero % for 6 months an when you spend 499 you get 100 back. Sound like a discounted camera system to me. There's also a 15% off coupon on mopar purchases with up to a max 200 in savings. Think I'm having lunch then going down to the dealership

Check your FICO (or fake FICO) score after that loan processes. I want to know if you take a big hit like I did. I haven't had an auto loan in at least 10 years but I guess it drops sharply until you make a couple payments then shoots back up to where it was before. Perhaps my lack of any revolving credit obligations affects it, I dunno.

I didn't look if the CC's reported the huge balance, but I paid it before the cycle so no interest due and back to zero revolving except for that new truck loan.

I just checked mine and it is still the same as before purchase.

Ended up not going to town. Messed around getting my fiver hitch adjusted up. Had about 5.5 " clearance from the camper to bed rails, so I took the hitch apart an lifted it up 1 notch, so should be setting up around 6.5-7" now over bed. that mopar 30k hitch was more beefy than i thought it was, or maybe it just wipped my a$$. I still think the companion hitch is better but this one seams pretty stought . So a couple things maybe everybody can clear up for me.
1: when I backed under fiver an locked it in an lifted the legs, the air suspension started adjusting. I thought everyone said that you had to plug in before it would do anything???
2: so I got in the truck an the light was on at the alt height toggle. Was it trying to tell me it did something or that I needed to do something??? I did hit the switch, it seamed to go down just ever so slightly. While we were standing outside checking out clearances an lights you could hear the suspension adjusting just sitting there.
3: will the alt ride height do anything when your not hooked to something???
4: after i got everything adjusted , I crawled around underneath the truck to check it out. Found the fuel filters an air compressor, a few body moldings that the little plastic plugs weren't all the way pushed in, do tightened them up. Found the aisin serial #. Anybody know where the Cummins serial # is???
5: maybe I didn't look at it correctly but i thought some had said that the cam plug in at the bumper was capped off. All 4 of my plugs had wires plugged into them. Will be interesting to get the cam an see if there both hot.
Turned 100 miles today , love that truck. How you doing out there John, good fortune I hope.

As soon as they ran my credit, I new about it. On credit karma, they notified me that my Equifax any trans union scores had dropped 2 points each. So I'm down to 831 an 829, i suck

Haven't seen anybody talk about the difference in there insurance rates yet. Went from a 16 ram 2500 6.7 tradesmen to a fully loaded 20 3500 Laramie Dre 6.7. My rates only went up $120 for the whole year. I thought that was crazy good, I'm real happy with that. Nationwide

I haven't hooked up yet so I don't have all the answers but have dome some checking and seen some vids.

1. As designed.
2. Don't know, it may have decided there was enough weight on the bags to trigger alt height.
3. It will pretend to adjust and show on the EVIC but doesn't do anything and cancels itself.
4. -
5. My bumper cam plug cable is capped off. on the end opposite the bumper connection. Let's see a pic.

Coming out of a 04.5 I don't want to talk about it...

Thanks for your help, if its not raining tomorrow, I'll snap some pics of the back side of the 7/12 plug ins

It's not capped at the 7/12 pin plugs, it's capped at the end of the cable from the bumper 12-pin (BUMPER in the image.) If yours is plugged in, they may have figured out how to build a Y-cable.

Ok , so brutal your 100% correct. It appears that both 7 pin plug ins are hot an the 12 pin in the bed is hot an the one at the bumper has a wire harness plugged into 12 pin with a capped off end an both 12 pin camera wires are zip tied were it plugs in to the lead that runs up front to uconnect so that way if you don't want to use the one in the bed you just unplug an plug into the other one zip tied to it for bumper

It should level plugged in or not as you want it to level when a load is put in bed.

So in theory, what does the toggle switch do any what does it mean when it lit up

Alt Height?

Alt Height lowers the rear 1" if you have a trailer hooked up and the bed rails should be level. Without it enabled, the rear will ride with a slight rake. I don't know if it works without a trailer plugged in and just a load is detected.

Auto level is always working unless you set it to one of the override modes (which cancel when it moves).

Gotcha, I knew it was minimal, just an inch, but I was like when I heard it outside sense the load an start adjusting , will it do any good to hit the toggle. Sounds like the system airs up according to how much weight is sensed on the bed an then when you get into truck you have the choice to hit toggle an lower an inch or not but the light on toggle is telling you system is ready to adjust if you want

Could be.

If you look at the rear end, you'll see the sensors and arms connected from the frame to the axle/springpack that reads the level position. I expect the system reads that and the pressure to figure things out.

It's been suggested that not using alt height places too much stress on the bags and could make them prone to damage. As with everything read on the internet, I take that with a grain of salt.

My 2019 will not lower when unloaded.

From the manual.

I saw those linkage arms yesterday an that was exactly how our commercial garbage trucks worked. If that arm ever comes off the bags will deflate
