Was watching some videos on YouTube about the Thuren track bar and stumbled onto one about AAM ball joint delete.
Basically they replace the ball joint with a spherical ball end. Fits in place of the ball joint and is rebuildable/replaceable. You only replace the spherical ball when it wears out. You keep all the hardware.
Interesting concept. Supposed to work better than stock ball joints.
Anyone ever use them?

Still fairly new not much info, EMF balljoints are the best on the market for cummins trucks so they should last your hemi a lifetime

I don't know much about the rebuildable joints but isn't the work to replace them nearly the same? It would seem if the knuckle needs to be removed to access the ball stud you might as well replace the whole joint?

To rebuild the ball joint delete, you just take out the snap ring and tap out the spherical bearing. The cone stays in the knuckle so it doesn't cause any wear on the hole.
It's basically a home joint/king pin hybrid.
