Just bought the Laramie 3500 dually . I should have ordered the Aux Switches but didn't. The dealership with a call to Mopar has told me that they don't sell a kit to add the Aux Switches to the new RAM trucks for seelf install. I have the standard panel for Diesel truck. The seperate box (module) for the driverside in the engine compartment for relays and fuses exist (Would this need replacing?). The Pinout modules for plugging into for the aux outputs. Does anyone have a parts list for what I need to add the Auxlary switches?

1. The Plugs that install for wiring up my accessary to.
2. Wire set that used to plug in.
3. Module inside the truck that takes the existing switches and brake control that has the AUX switches

My motor is the cummings diesel. But the dealer after talking to mopar claims there isn't a kit for adding the aux. Switches. I doubt that is true. Not sure where the intelligence is in the module that the switches plug into. But need that at the least for its convenience if not anything else. The box (module) that holds the relays and fuses. If that is just a place holder for the fuses and relays then I'm sure that on the backside has stabs for wire terminations. Thus I won't necessarily need the /wo blocks for plugging into by simply terminating the devices directly to the stabs or if I get the plug standard to terminate the devices directly into the plug with the appropriate wire size.

It is CUMMINS not cummings! You paid an extra 10 grand for the engine you should be able to spell it properly…. And there is no kit you have to source all the parts yourself.

Welcome to HDRAMS.

Let's assume your phone is autocorrecting "Cummins."

There is no factory add-on kit for the AUX switches. They are not just a simple dumb switch.

There are several reasonable options.

One is full factory with custom built wiring. You can try to contact @paulvi to see if he has any kits still available though he hasn't logged in here since July. His direct email is in this link: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?members/paulvi.1105/

Optionally, you could reach out to @Jimmy07 to see if he can perhaps build you a kit. Many of the connectors are specialized, hard to get, and have minimum orders.
Said kit will need a new switch panel to match your existing options, the custom wiring, and an AlfaOBD setup to code "program" the truck to enable the AUX switch option.
You'll have to replace the existing piano keys with the proper AUX switch panel, pin some wires into the BCM (body computer) connector and run wires through the firewall to the AUX PDC.

There is one hybrid aftermarket solution that uses the factory switch panel and their wiring and their PDC. I think they supply a plug and play programmer to enable the option but can't say for sure. I don't know how that might work with the existing Diesel AUX PDC, you may have to use all of their kit (or not). I'm not going to do the research for you on that one.

You could go 100% aftermarket.

There's a wireless option made by a company called Trigger
There are other options from SwitchPro's and S-Pod that are popular with the Power Wagon crowd.
It's a long read but worth it to go through the threads already linked to get a better understanding what it takes to do this.

Calm down Francis, cut the guy a little slack. We should educate not irritate.

I'm in the identical situation.
Picked up my new 2022 3500 Dually on 10/17/22. I won't bore you with the details of trying to order the Aux switch kit on the new truck, but it did not happen.

So now, trying to figure it out.

As stated above, there is no help coming from RAM. They claim the parts cannot be ordered, that they cannot get or provide part numbers. Yet you can search on various Mopar parts websites and they show the switch...but they show it with multiple part numbers and I haven't found a definitive way to say "This switch is the one you need" yet.

Probably the most helpful info I've found so far was a YOUTUBE video. Here's the link
Youtube RAM Upfitter switch installation
In case the link is not there, here is the URL

At this point, I don't have any problem with doing it myself, but I also don't want to have to order multiple switches to find the correct one.

If anyone has any resource link that will provide the definitive part # for the 2022 3500 upfitter switch, it would be much appreciated.

I'm sure someone has the same configuration of your truck with the aux switches, you could use their VIN to have the dealer look up the switch.
Does your truck have rear auto level and parking sensors? If so you could use my VIN to look up the right part.

Parking sensors, yes.
Rear auto level (air bags?) no.

I've asked a few sources if they could look up part #s by VIN and they claim they can't. I guess I could keep calling...
Regardless, yeah, I've had the same thought.

Here's a pix of my existing switch, showing exhaust brake, tow/haul mode, and parking assist rear and front.

Just an FYI, Upfitter switches are not the same as AUX switches. Did you mean to say aux switches or you're actually talking about Upfitter stitches?
When building my truck I've considered the AUX switches but decided I'd add them later if and when I need them, in hindsight I should have ordered AUX from the factory.
But while researching the switches, I found out the Upfitter could NOT be added later on as it's much more involving process (well anything could be added or changed it's just not so easy).

What?

Upfitter-=Aux

Perhaps you're thinking of the VSIM? FWIW, that's easier to add DIY than the AUX/Upfitter switches.

VSIM?

He never said that. It can be added. A little wiring and the parts and a twerk with AlfaOBD.

Hell, even the 2022 are turning out to already have all the wiring.
I must be mistaken, i thought he said it could not be added because its part of the main harness i guess i miss read what he was saying or it was another module he was talking about

Maybe I'm thinking VSIM, apologies.
At the time I've read somewhere that if it's not installed from the factory when truck is still pretty much an empty shell, then it can't be added later on. That's what I read don't know how true it is. It was some document from RAM FWIW
