I recently had an independent shop do the CP3 swap on my 2020 2500 (the recall would take several years to get done by the dealer because they are only getting one unit every 2 weeks, and I am 109 on the list - they just finished number 7). Now the electronic throttle light is on, and also says to service the exhaust system. The independent claims that only the dealership can fix this problem. I do notice significant power loss in the throttle.

Any ideas to fix this issue before going to the dealer and dealing with the inevitable pushback for going to an independent even though the wait on the recall would be years?
Also is it ok to drive as is until I can get it into the dealer?
Any help is much appreciated!

Either get it tuned or have the dealer do the CP3 flash. Unless the independent screwed up What pump did the independent use?

The independent shop was paid to do a job, take it back and tell them to fix it. Dealer is going to tell you to pound sand...

Industrial injection CP3. They said they did an ECM reflash twice, but all the service remained.

Did they have the Bypass cable installed? Did they hook up the throttle valve connector or break it possibly?
